A snarl deep in his throat, Goldstar lifted his lip at Pyre.
"You are a traitor to your clan. You know nothing of fair or noble and I do not follow your rules. Now get out of the way or be ripped apart."
He challenged, teeth gleaming, eyes glinting.
"You do not mess with my family."
He eyed PewterClan around him, even glancing towards CrescentClan at his words. He had been trained for battle well over seventy moons now. He was not a cat to be messed with, and all must know it whether it took spilled blood and broken bones to show it. Dawnstar was on her way...He would not be bested by brutes. With a demanding hiss, he sprang at Sacrifice, sinking his white teeth into her fur. He would not lose this battle. Divinepaw or any other of his clan was not to be trifled with, and it was time he taught them a lesson. PewterClan was like a plague, it may seem gone, but at the best moments, it would always return. Goldstar battled on, the strength of his nine lives coursing his veins. StarClan was with him...
No one would ever call him weak again.

Toph was busy dodging a rouge with her eyes transfixed on it. A reddish-brown tom barreled into her. Toph was taken by suprise and quickly retailiated. The tom was none other than Snapdragon. He ran up a tree and jumped down but Toph was quicker. She stepped aside and tried to pounce on his back. Riverwing ran toward Pyre and bit his tail.

Sacrifice had already seen the move that the other tom was going to make before he made it, and countered it quickly. As the other cat bit at him, the crimson and white tom rolled, digging his hind claws into the stomach of Goldstar, and pushed the tom off of him, getting back to his feet in one smooth moment. A dark grin was flickering on his maw as he circled with the other cat, obviously amused with something. What it could be at this time, really wasn't known to anyone aside from the tom. "Your lineage must be rather inbred then." The crison and white tom said with a smirk, before quickly whirling and slashing at the tom while they were in half circle, ivory claws flashing slightly. This battle was going the way it had been expected, no side visibly winning yet. Renegade just needed to make his move against Dawnstar, and then everything would be theirs once more.
Meanwhile though, the fighting went on...

Goldstar did not distract himself by Sacrifice's words, as he had wanted. Instead, seething from the wound on his stomach, he lashed out in anger. Faking first left, then ducking right, the golden made his point clear. This battle would not be over easily.
He ducked down before leaping into the tree backwards above Sacrifice's head. Ravenstar being his own mentor, he had learned well to use his resources. Flipping over, the tom aimed for the rogues back. His eyes flashed, observing their surroundings like an eagle to his prey.
Divinepaw seemed to be alright, which kept him content. However his daughter and her friends charging straight for Renegade fueld him on, yearning to defeat Sacrifice and move on to help them. But his clan will drove on. Losing his daughter was less important than losing his clan. He swore his every life on it, to Winterpelt, Ravenstar, Blackriver, and...His aunt. This could not defeat him.

Chuckling quietly, Pyre threw himself into the fight, ramming into the clan leader. He wasn't exeptionally big a cat...in fact, he leaned a little bit on the smaller side. However, he relied on speed, ruthlessness and of course, cunning to win his fights. "Mind if I share?" The tom meowed politely, even as he whirled and caught a passerby in the jaw. Even if he was in fact a bloodthirsty clan traitor, he was still a gentleman. And a fight didn't mean that they had to be openly rude. That was just barbaric. His mentor, back when he was still a Mapleclan apprentice, hadn't taught him much. He'd learnt whatever he could from Richages, Hawktalon, Talonfang, or on his own. Pyre was an ambitious cat, after all. Come to think of it...the stag-pelted tom wondered, just at the back of his mind, what had become of his parents and siblings. Dead? That would be nice. -------------------------------- Ears flattening and lips curling over his sharp teeth, Aceslash growled, and leapt at Scorpius, claws unsheathed. If it was a bad idea to attack the rogue tom, it was too late now. It was a bold move, meeting his opponent head-on...but it would provide a nice distraction. If he was lucky, he'd have Scorpius' full attention. "Let's dance, kittypet." He hissed, taunting the other tom.

((Can Scorpius injure someone? And Goldstar?))
Battling two cats now, Goldstar began to struggle until Peachglade shot like a cannon out of her current position and into battle. "Don't take this as friendship Goldstar. I fight for my clan, and as I aide you do not expect me to follow your orders." She snarled, experience as deep as Goldstar's. She's been an apprentice when he was just born. With a hiss, she stole onto Pyre before he could finish the attack on the PewterClan leader. She moved rapidly, having the same advantages as her opponent. A close battle was at hand.
!*!*!*!**!*!*!*!*!*!!**!*!*!*!
Scorpius turned with a deadly grin. A young warrior...Or was he an apprentice? How touching. Someone to make beg for death. He swung his claws for a blow, poison flashing at their tips. The closeness of range between his scorching claws and Aceslash's pelt were almost undestinguished. Had the sinister rogue made contact? Soon it would be known. The black cat gave a startled cry, green eyes flashing as Depthvision slammed down onto his silver claws. There was...
There was something in her jaws. A poulstice on his feet. It couldn't be! With a snarl of anger, Scorpius swung out for her, claws scathing across her beautiful face. Blood pooled at his feet, the scar barely missing the target; her eye.
With a yelp of pain, Depthvision jumped back. She had done what she needed, a true warrior at heart, but the blood poured down her face like great tears of red. Her jet blue eyes rolled in her head as pain overtook her.
*!*!!*!*!*!*!*!*!*!*!*!*!*!*!*!*!*
Goldstar, eyes darting over to his daughter, watched as her face was scarred, likely for life. His poor child...Her great Aunt was blinded the same way as she, a painfully brutal attack. The golden tom focused once more, ready to end this battle and help her.

((Don't hurt Sacrifice please.))
Grinning as Pyre leapt into the action, Sacrifice gave a soft, yet chilling laugh. "Not at all. There is enough for everyone here." With Pyre ramming into the older cat, Sacrifice whirled, casing the other tom to fall off his back. Although Goldstar may be his elder in some ways, there was something that he didn't have against Sacrifice. The rogue fought to stay alive, he fought to live. Clan cats only fought as a self defense tatic. Before the other cat even had a chance to get to his feet, rogues were well known for their dirty way of fighting, Sacrifice lunged, digging his claws into the other cat, biting down on his soft fur and flesh. Goldstar's distraction was obvious, his daughter as well as two other warriors were fighting against Renegade and Scorpius, and it seemed the she cat, whom must be in relation to him, had just been wounded. "You know you want to help her. You just can't leave me standing here can you? Pride comes before the fall, Goldstar. And if your daughter doesn't get pressure to that wound quickly, she will either die, or be harmed more so for the rest of her life." Hissing right next to the ear of Goldstar, Sacrifice leapt off of the other cat, flashing a grin at Scorpius. The two weren't friends, nor were they against each other. But a good attack was always something to grin at.

Goldstar snarled at Sacrifice, golden eyes not betraying an ounce of emotion as he coldly stared down the enemy. "She will be safer if I get rid of you first!" He continued the battle, onward, hit after hit, force by force.
*!*!*!*!*!!*!*!*!*!*!*!*!*!*!*!*!*!*!*!*!
Scorpius snarled, anger covering his dark face as he lashed out for Aceslash again. It had seemed his poisonous claws had indeed met target, tearing the tomcat's side with a glint of death. Depthvision's mouth still tasted like the antidote, and running over to her friend, she licked the open wound roughly, being sure all was in before he could pass it.
It did not dimminish the injury itself however, and she back up, the flesh of her face open to the air, stinging in pain. Battle wasn't even her thing, but she could not bear though of her clanmates dying, especially one's like Havoccrypt and Aceslash she was only just beginning to know.
Two cats pushed back, Scorpius laughed brutally as Havoccrypt waved closer to his master. The second would not interfere, no, it would be nice for Havoccrypt to meet his maker as soon as possible.
((Let Renegade and Zane end this as soon as possible, please. It's drawing on long enough. xP))

Aceslash staggered as Scorpius' tainted claws ripped at his side. Even without the poison, it was a bad enough wound. Oops. Maybe the whole head-on thing was a bad idea. He knew that moving, let alone fighting, would just make the poison spread even faster, but they were in a battle. Standing still or lying down wasn't really the best thing to do right now. Feeling a little lightheaded already, it took all his attention to continue his assault on the rogue tom. Ducking as quickly as he could, Aceslash managed to avoid the second slash.
((I'd continue...but I'm out of time today. G'bye kids.))

((Woops, sorry, didn't remember the Renegade-Havoccrypt thing. Does Renny die in this battle?))
With a dark chuckle, Renegade had muttered something into a following tom's ear before the follower was killed by a Clanner. A short growl of annoyance, along with a twisted ear and that smirk was all he gave as he ripped the life from the Clanner. Server her right, too. Killing his "friend". Saved him from doing it later - he knew the tom, and knew that he was a traitor. But still, principles and all. One couldn't just kill a rogue and get away with it now, could one? And then... Pressure, on his back. Heavy. And a hissed voice in his ear. "Why, hello, Renegade." The massive tom could feel the claws grip and slice, but could tell just from the pressure that they weren't embedded deep enough for him to flip and crush Havoccrypt. Instead, he reared up, coming scarily close to falling backwards, but, it being an angle the Clan-cat couldn't balance, he succeeded in getting him off. Then, quick as lightning as the smaller tom was slightly unbalanced, Renegade lashed out with claws retracted and smashed his paw into Havoccrypt's head. If he wasn't underestimating his strength, the tom would be seeing stars by now. "And soon, you'll be seeing Starclan." he growled, the sneer back on his face as he grabbed Havoccrypt's scruff in his teeth and flipped him to the floor. It was all over for the clanner. Renegade prepared for the final blow, intending to slam all of his weight down through his front paws, on to Havoccrypt's head, neck, chest, until his bones were powder and he couldn't breathe. That would teach the insolent kit to take on the rogue leader. Renegade reared back, unsheathing his claws for effect. Then, making sure Havoccrypt could see, he slowly reared back, mentally marking his first blow- it would not kill the cat, but would cripple him. The spine is always a good place to start, he reasoned. That way, if Renegade changed his mind, Havoccrypt would live with the reminder not to mess with leaders for the rest of his days. He drew back to make the blow, and surged forward with all his might when suddenly he caught a flash of a pelt. Splaying his legs either side of the probably recovering clan-cat, Renagade craned his neck to follow up the view. Perfect. It was none other that... "Dawnstar!" his voice was a roar, escalating above everything there. With ease, he flung Havoccrypt away, seemingly forgetting that the clanner had not been punished. All he cared about now was the leader. He hadn't seen her since the confrontation, where he had been led off. And now, he wanted to pick up where they had left off.
-x-
Hearing her name, Dawnstar turned, a lull in the fighting. It seemed every cat, rogue and clan alike, were watching. The group there dispersed, creating a circle. The looked like shadows, slinking away in the face of the sun. But an evil sun it is, Renegade stalking through the masses to halt before her. "Dawnstar, I'm hurt. How could you treat guests this way?" he glanced down at where an undistinguishable cat lay at his paws. He gave a sniff and pretended to wipe a tear away. "Of course, I would be willing to forgive you. I'm a very...easygoing cat. Once you get to know me, of course. Isn't that right?" he called, directed at where Pyre and Sacrifice were. "Yes?" Dawnstar asked quietly, feeling cats around her lean in slightly to hear. "And at what cost would you forgiveness be? Our lives? Our freedom? Our clan?" the she-cats violet eyes flashed. Renegade looked first indignant, then shocked, then hurt. "Dawnstar, you let me down. When did you become so... Cynical? All I ask, is for you land. You can keep your lives and freedom, and even your clan! See how nice of a cat I am? A real gentleman, if I do say so myself." Dawnstar's next words were cold and hard, and laced with poison. "You do say so yourself, you pompous murderor. You will never live here. I swear it by Starclan." The tom inhaled, shaking his head while lowering it, eyes closed. "Then I'm afraid that it's going to be-" Dawnstar was upon him, her screech cutting of any words, and her claws opening his muzzle. Dropping any pretences, Renegade instantly whirled and smashed her with a sledgehammer blow, knocking her back and rushing forward to meet her again. She ducked under his attempt to flip her and nipped at his belly, twisting out from below him before he could slam his weight down again. And again, he caught her, knocking he rto the floor this time, where she kicked and sent him back. It seemed, for every strike each of them made, the other had an equally effective counter.

((He is nearly killed, but doesn't actually die. However, everyone thinks he does, and Renegade really doesn't pop up anymore after this.
20, by the way.))
"Renegade." The voice had seemed to come from no where, as if the wind has spoke it. There was pure challenege in that voice, it's coldness almost masking who it was. Almost, but there are some things, that couldn't be masked, such as the sometimes strange way this rogue spoke. So long had he awaited this day, ever sonce having come to this place, where he had found what he had always been looking for, even if he hadn't known it at the time. Now, as he came out of the shadows where he had been lurking, there was no mistaking the fire in his sharp golden eyes, the way he carried himself. His maw drawn back into a soft snarl, there was a different quality seen in this tom, then with any of the cats fighting at the moment. It had seemed though, that all fighting had stopped, everyone interested in this sudden challenger. Some could say he was a good guy, some say a bad, although most would say he did what he thought to be right, which was much more true then anything else that had been said to describe the wandering tom. Stepping forward, it was time, to dance the true dance of death. There could only be one winner this time, for better, or for worse.
He was called Zane, and it seemed at these times everyone had known his name just after he had arrived. After spending days with the other rogues, gaining respect for what he was doing, and even speaking with PewterClan in those tense times had changed who he once was. There was less reservation around others, although secrets were still with him. Today, he didn't fight for the same reason that Renegade, or anyone else did. He wasn't going to fight for his home, or just because he could. The onyx tom was going to fight for his soon to be family, for everyone that Renegade had harmed, and to save those that he could from turning insane, like the tom before him. There would be no more cats run out of their homes, no more sorrow on the loss of lives taken early. This was going to end, now.
"May the best win." With a faint smirk, the onyx tom made the first move. Before Renegade had even turned from Dawnstar, the onyx rogue leader luinged forward, only, he didn't leap onto the larger tom. Rather, he whirled in one smooth movement, claws flashing, and sliced at the other feline, claws digging into the sides and tearing as the tom spun gracefully, body loose and claws sharp.
This battle was going to be the difference between sanity and insanity...

A growl, and Goldstar leapt away from his current battle. Seeming to glide over to Dawnstar, he whispered in her ear.
"This is Zane's battle, Dawnstar. If you agree, we should back away."
Not waiting for reply, the golden tom pulled back into the clearing, sorrowful eyes on Havoccrypt. Was he out of his mind? It seemed a circle of cats was forming around Renegade and Zane, all cats rogue and clan alike seeming suspended in waiting. Peachglade took Dawnstar's shoulder, eyes observing CrescentClan with a keen stare.
*!*!*!*!*!!*!*!*!*!*!*!*!
Melody could hardly stand to watch, keeping her eyes away from her beloved mate with all of her might. But how could she not? She would not watch him suffer placidly on his own. Biting her lip, she turned to the battle. Something inside her moved, and not just one heart, but six. They seemed to squirm in fear, though in reality those unborn kits had no clue...
They were safe, and that's what mattered. But Zane mattered even more. With claws unsheathed, Melody protected her stomach, old Foreshadow waiting besides her to leap to his Aunt's deffense. Maybe one would be a chip of the old block, eh?
She was almost muttering to herself, to those who could not understand the kits in her belly.
"Don't worry, my kits...Your father is strong. As you will be. Do not despair..." Perhaps it was more said to convince herself than anyone.
!*!*!*!*!*!*!*!*!*!*!*!
Depthvision raced to Havoccrypt, blood beginning to dry on her face. Having seen to Aceslash, she now stood sentry besides the brazen warrior. Havoccrypt may not appear sensible, but to her he'd fought even more noble than Goldstar himself.
"Please, Havoc....Be alright."
She could not hush the sound of concern breathing on her voice. He'd narrowly missed death..
Still, she'd reason enough to worry. It's not like she really loved him...Right?

Aceslash breathed heavily, the gashes in his side stinging, but not bothering too much; they were external wounds, and were nothing compared to the injuries he'd sustained during the last battle at Pewterclan. The battle had appeared to come to a relative standstill, everyone, rogue and clan, watching the confrontation before the two rogue leaders. Standing beside Depthvision and his brother, he flicked his ears. "Havoccrypt's done worse." He mewed quietly. His brother had pretty much come back from death before, and scared the living daylights out of Aceslash. Looking around, his gaze finally landed on a she-cat, who seemed to be watching Zane with a concern that could only be seen on his lover...the gray tom paused, confused. Weird. Was it just him...or had he seen her before? That can't be possible...can it? ---------------------- Pyre contemplated going after Goldstar as he pulled away, but quickly decided against it. Renegade was going to fight Zane, and he wanted to be there to watch. There might just be things to be learned in watching their confrontation.

Whirling, Havoccrypt landed with a soft 'thud,' blinking a few times as the dust swirled around him. It seemed that he had been taken down by Renegade once more, although this time he had managed to get his claws into the other cat. At least too, this time he hadn't been flung head first into the wall and having visited StarClan basically. He just had the breath knocked out of him, something that happened a lot to the stubborn warrior.
"So true. Like last time, when I just blacked out when I hit the wall, that was pretty bad." Of course, he had told his brother about the starry figures, but he had been the only one who had known how far Havoccrypt had gone. Depthvision's obvious concern slightly surprised the black tom, as he hadn't actually expected it. Still, he shrugged it off as though it was nothing, sitting up and wiping a paw over his ears as though nothing had happened in the first place. The silence here was scary, although it only took one glance upward to see what it was for. That mysterious rogue, Zane was he called?, was going to fight Renegade it seemed. He would have to watch this one.
Sitting between his brother and Depthvision, the glance Ace flashed at Zane's mate, or who he thought that was, brought curiosity to his light gaze. "You know her?" He mewed softly, not wanting to draw attention away from the battle above.
>><<
A deep blue, and huge tom suddenly appeared behind Foreshadow, strange colored eyes shadowed and mysterious. He was one of Zane's followers, and meant no harm to the two. Rather, he was here to protect the two. "He will be fine Melody. He has been preparing for this day for a long time." Ike said softly, his eyes never leaving the battle. He was sitting beside Foreshadow, and although the two toms had never really met before, he seemed to have a casual air to him, as though the two had been friends for a long time. It was just the way Ike was, although that all changed as soon as the obviously strong tom began to fight with his deadly accuracy. For now though, only a slight bit of battle was evident in his pose, everything else just watching and calculating.
>><<
A pair of dark red eyes tracked the actions of all the rogues she could watch, black pelt bristled slightly as she prepared to leap at the throats of the other rogues. Vampirefang had been a DuskClan apprentice, but had left from the clan. With that, and her rogue training, she had a combination of skills that she used when fighting. It made her dangerous, and unpredictable. She was also one of Zane's, although she bore little scent of who she followed. It was that which had always made her the perfect spy, the reason Zane had known what was going on. She would never admit it, but there seemed to have been some other reason then just want, for her leaving DuskClan. Although, she had heard that Silverstar had passed away. Maybe Scythebark's leadership would be different, the ceremonies on time for once, but who knew.
