Goldstar padded into the clearing, his nose wrinkling at the stench. Rogues...The smell wreaked in his head, the scent of poison and crowfood plaguing his camp. He leaped onto his rock with a bound, glancing down at what remained of his clan.
"Welcome home, PewterClan. As you can see, our clan needs repair. Alot needs to be done, some of which must occur before we rest. Our dead must be burried, and the new cats who have chosen to join us must recieve a ceremony. As well, I'd like Nudgewing to lead a patrol of cats strong enough to fight around the territory to be sure no rogues remain on our land. If they are, they must be driven out."
He adressed them formally, nodding once to Nudgewing and continuing.
"I will have an official ceremony tomorrow evening, though two additions to the clan must recive apprentice names tonight. Pounce and Journey, please rise."
He waited for the pair to step up, adressing Warheart's kin kindly.
"Is it your wish to become members of PewterClan, to learn to fight and defend us?"
He nodded for their agreement, continuing.
"Good. Then we welcome Pouncepaw and Morningpaw into the clan. Morningpaw will be mentored by Aceslash and Pouncepaw will be mentored by..."
Goldstar paused once, thinking his decision thoughtfully.
"...Havoccrypt. Though they are new warriors, I believe them competent in training our apprentices, and if any cat has a problem with this they will answer to me. I plan to host a full ceremony at sunset tomorrow so I expect no complaints tonight about why so-and-so wasn't apprenticed or warrior'd. Understood? Fogberry, please inspect the dens for possible poisons and unnecessary particles. Trapfang and Depthvision will go with Nudgewing's patrol and catch prey on the way back so we may have a little food. Our freshkill is at absolute zero and though food is not scarce, you must share for tonight. Afterwards, we will sleep. A rest is long deserved."
A level look by his deep golden eyes could silence a cat forever, as he stared down the clan. Goldstar leaped down from the rock, the blood finally drying on his shoulder. He gave it a rough lick and sprang down, walking through the clan.
"If anyone needs me, I'll be around camp attempting to mildly reduce this horrid smell."
He added with a smirk, padding up to his old father Leopardscar and giving him a lick on he head. The elder smiled, not much but a bag of bones, and turned with sorrow filled eyes to look at all the dead cats. Flammingsong...She'd been a good warrior.
((PM me if your cat needs to get a warrior or apprentice ceremony. Though you really should have updated the board for this, if I were truly going by this PewterClan would have next to no active cats, let alone to be apprenticed.))

((I've noticed that everyone seems to think there's a ledge the leader uses in PewterClan, when the leaders are supposed to stand on the stepping stone in the river to address ))
Even though the reek made their stomachs turn, everyone felt a feeling of elation at being back in their rightful home. This was theirs, and StarClan turn into bears before they'd ever surrender it again. Smokesmog and Vitalsilver grinned at each other, happy underneath the tired eyes and battle-torn coats. The loner Runereader padded through the cats after Fogberry, she had been helping the medicine cat since the first fight, so she'd help with one last task before departing for the meadows again. Ah yes, the group was dispersing into activity, cats muttering in worry or happiness, going to get done their orders, or just standing dumbly unsure of what to do themselves. A yellow tom threaded through them, rudely bulldozing past the others and quite loudly meowing, "'Scuze me, pardon me, outta the way, will ya'? Oh my, you're fat." He headed towards Goldstar, leaping up next to the leader on his perch, looking quite smug. "Weeellll Goldie, looks like you got your way in the end, eh? I don't know why you'd want this place though, it's NewLeaf yet it's still cold!" The yellow cat sat on his haunches, putting his paws on the scarf around his neck and huffing, "Brrrr." His purple tail twitched and the bells on his collar clinked as he moved, giving the leader another smile. "Anyways mon cap-i-tan, are you ready to consider my offer again? You know, the whole sickness antidote thing? Suuure you haven't had an outbreak in a while, but after all that fighting you'll be having sick cats left and right in about... Oh, a day and a half maybe." Clopar chuckled and threw a paw over Goldstar's shoulders, "Oooh decisions decisions, eh?"

The area reeked of rogues, their scent thick and disgusting. It was one though, that they had been smelling for many moons, and it really didn't effect the younger black warrior as he made his way into camp, almost unmarked from the fight. Of course, he had gotten the wind knocked out of him and suprised both cats, but that was just a typical Havoccrypt thing. Doing the opposite of what everyone expected always made his day, especially when one thought that they knew how he was going to react. It was always fun to watch reactions of everyone, especially ones who had deep set grudges against him for reasons Havoccrypt knew, but would always plead innocent to.
As Goldstar leapt onto the rock, Havoccrypt watched with a casual grace, as though the clan had never been drive out of their home in the first place. It was just another day it seemed, waiting for the day to start and the ceremonies for the apprentices to begin. As the golden tom continued to speak though, it answered the thoughts he had about the two cats that had followed them. He had wondered why they had been there, every rogue had been driven, or simply walked off. What he didn't expect though, was the chance to mentor an apprentice so early on, and it seemed his brother had been chosen too. Sending a sweeping gaze, he caught Aceslash's eyes, and grinned. Hey, we both get apprentices. Moving through the crowd, Havoccrypt grinned slightly, before accepting his first apprentice. "Hey Pouncepaw." It was as if the two had known each other forever, the causal way he greeted the new apprentice.[/size]

Goldstar's whiskers twitched. Clopar was an odd cat, the sort whom usually must be avoided. But though he was stranger than strange, his logistics should be measured amongst the truth. The weight of the decision made his heart slightly heavy. Perhaps this is what it meant to lead a clan, to face the effects of your choices and take blame for them.
"Clopar, it is not in my wishes to make you feel mistrusted, however it's in my nature to feel this way myself. How do I know what you say is the truth?"
He looked him down with level eyes. The circuit cat's way of talking was, above all, very weird indeed. And the way he was colored? What sort of incest was this?
!*!*!**!*!*!*!!*!*!!*!*!*!
Pouncepaw rolled her eyes at her new mtnro, green gaze amused. "Yeah, as if this is going to work! I don't even know the names of the cats in this clan. I'm a kit-like coward who ran out at the battle because I was too young and stupid to understand who was fighting for who among all the blood! And then there's you, the cat who attempted attack on Renegade himself. Makes me feel brilliant."
She sighed.

Nudgewing nodded silently to Goldstar. The white and brown she-cat was surprisingly solemn today. The deputy was usually so full of energy. Leaping of own stone, she landing steadily on her paws. Flicking her tail at a few healthy warriors, she turned, towards the camp entrance. She bristled as Clopar pushed past, but didn't pause to acknowledge the yellow cat. Why would she?
Eaglewing trotted after the deputy, glad to be in his familiar birthplace once again. He'd met back up with Pewterclan when they had been driven out of their lands by the rogues, and had offered them a place to stay. Thankful for his help, Goldstar had asked if the wiry pale gray tom if he would like to come back and live with the clan. Eaglewing, had, obviously, happily complied. Quite a bit had changed though, since he'd left after the death of his mate and the disappearance of his kits. It was odd to see that his best friend's daughter was now the deputy of the clan. Weird. ------------------- The hot-tempered tortoiseshell medicine cat wrinkled her nose in disgust, heading towards her den to check her herb stock and then to check the other dens. Those rogues better had not messed with her stocks. If they had...Fogberry would go claw some eyes out. It took time to find herbs, and after a battle, especially, they'd need all they could get. ------------------- Aceslash's golden gaze glowed with happiness and excitement as he hurried to touch noses with his new apprentice, Morningpaw. His first apprentice! And so soon too! Catching Havoccrypt's grin, the long haired gray tom returned his brother's grin with one of his own. Both young toms were known throughout the clan for their sometimes foolish boldness...though Havoccrypt quite a bit more than Aceslash. Nodding to Morningpaw, he tried to put on a serious business face, with not too much success. Sighing he gave it up and flicked his tail tip in Havoccrypt and Pouncepaw's direction. "If you'd like, we could go start now...with them."

Lazily, Havoccrypt laughed. "Honestly, I don't know everyone here either, and I grew up here." Shaking his head, amusment flashed for a moment in the tom's gaze. It seemed that the two would be getting along well, already Pouncepaw was making Havoccrypt laugh. He was an apprentice at heart though, so it wasn't strange that they had 'bonded' so quickly. "And as for your last part, that is something called 'Common Sense.' I've been told countless times that I have none, but that is what makes me myself. I'll probably have a shorter life then everyone, but hey."
Eyeing the apprentice with a stern yet fun filled gaze, he flickered her with his tail. "We are joining the patrol before we have to help around here. Quickly now, and don't get noticed." Havoccrypt said softly, before moving toward where everyone else was gathering, but not before winking as his brother and the apprentices.

Redspirit rolled her eyes when Clopar came in. Typical, mouse-brain. Dosen't even know his limits. She just sweeped debris with her tail. Redspirit saw a a clump of three, bright red berries right where she was about to sweep. She quickly pick it up a dashed away with it. Once she reached the edge of the territory she threw it over the cliff. Satisfied that she got rid of them, she padded back to the camp.
