Vibrant blues, sahdes of grey, colors of heartache and loss, an arrogant, brutality shining bright as the golden sun above, dancing on the tomcat as he was led into the clearing.
Nimbleflash was back. Did he stand a chance in a home of the cats he had betrayed, relatives of those he had slain? An outcast he finally was, no Richages and Snakebite to stand his guard at the enterance. No brilliant smile to flash confidence on his face of ash. Truthfully, ash was all he had become. Gray, dismal, the remenants of a bright fire, what is born of pain and destruction. Led into camp by the unforgiving sister of his victim Cavesong, Nimbleflash hesitated as he stood in the camp.
"Mountainbrook...I can take it from here." Even in his broken state, the newly scarred ex-warrior leapt up the Honeystar's den, confusion flashing his face as he smelled not the expected Maplestar, but her old deputy.
About time the old hag passed on...
Though he was a changed cat, he could not help but to have his poor thoughts and forboding image. Old habits? They die hard. Nimbleflash boldly stood, his eyes actually flashing a bit of concern for Maplestar he had never wanted to have, and sorrow at the pain he had caused the cats in the clearing around him.
"Honeystar..."
He decided who she was with a designated smirk, hiding effectively his aroma of fear of rejection.
"...I am Nimbleflash. I have come home."
Already he knew her answer. Of course she'd refuse, he'd killed the sister of her best friend.
"Do not judge me quickly, my liege. I have changed, and if it is not proof enough that I'm even standing here without reason otherwise, do not you smell my transformation? The bite of evil does not resignate in me as you recall. I am not who I was. My mate has been slain, as fairness is dealt, and I wish to join your clan. My clan. However if you choose to decline, it is not without understanding on my part. Half of why I came is for redemption anyways. And I will not take my name again, as it is one to strike fear in the hearts of kits and those who fear traitors. This was I, but now has deseased. I ask you to choose my name. Should you decide to renew me to hwo I should always have been."
His speech had grown indefinately, yet by habit of obeying Renegade's every whim, he still called his master, his leige. The most highest respect of a rogue, and yet also so possibly to be stated wrong, a statement signifying betrayal, or mercy. Whichever was decided upon.

((Is it part of a plot that he comes back? Because Honey's nature would be to leave him to struggle through life as a Rogue... o.e But if it's important to you that he rejoins MapleClan, then she can have an out-of-character moment. And if you want his name changed, is there any in particular you want?))
A low growl erupted from HoneyStar's den. NimbleFlash! He'd killed a good few of HoneyStar's clanmates, a deed not easily erased by a few choice words. The multi-colored she-cat stalked out of her den, fur risen to make her look twice her size. Her bright lemon eyes glared the tom down. "You expect to be welcomed back into the clan, Traitor," Her voice was like ice: cool with a biting touch, "...just because you think you are a new cat? There is no way for you to prove that you are not here to spy for Rogues or Circuit Cats. And you have yet to be truely sorry for turning against your clan, killing innocents, and dragging others into your schemes," The face of PounceSparrow -one of BengalStripe and RainDance's kits who had joined NimbleFlash- jumped into her head. "Tell me why I should not have you killed as you stand?"

((The choice is yours. If Honeystar accepts him, as he really has changed, he'll continue life as a good cat and grow to love and protect MapleClan. If she does not, he goes dark once more and begins to seek revenge, joining another clan for redemption. Prefferably he joins MapleClan again, because it's interesting to play him as an outcats, but if not...ah.))
Nimbleflash's eyes grew large, backing up against the corner of the den. His teeth shone overly in his smile, as he turned, trying to conceal the anger.
"I am no clown, Honeystar. I have no power therefor I am no spy for the Circuits, as well. And the rogues hold no place for me. I'd not spy in a place where Renegade and his troops can go willingly and expect to defeat. They wouldn't need a spy and you know it."
The grey tom bristled, his attempts so feeble, their honesty so brutally challenged he'd no idea what to say.
"I have killed, this I admit to. The cats I killed being of this clan. Our clan." His word choice challenged the leader with a dark gaze and biting words.
"But you have killed too, as has the rest of MapleClan. You automatically judge the rogues for the place they live and the cats they choose to put above themselves. By a single name you have given us a title and judged us. They are just as much murderers as the rest of us. And I did not force cats to go with me. If they wished it, I would not stop them, but I did not lead cats away. I followed Snakebite, Stagfire, and Richages. This you know. Am I to be blamed for a crime not guilty?"
From her location, Mountainbrook gazed up at them, her fur bristled at the fringes. They can't let Nimble stay...He's hurt them enough. But it was true, they did need the help. If he could not become traitor again.

Our clan. How dare he call MapleClan his?! He'd done nothing but harmed it, all throughout his life. He didnt deserve to be a part of MapleClan. And yet... HoneyStar remembered some of the passion he'd had as an apprentice, back before he ran around with Richages and that lot. If he could bring that out again, he'd be an asset MapleClan could be proud of. Lets see how much you want to stay. HoneyStar's eyes narrowed slightly, watching every twitch of every muscle in his body, gauging his reaction. "If you truely wish to be a part of MapleClan, you will have to go back to being an apprentice so that you can learn the meaning of loyalty, NimbleFlash. This includes sharing a den with them, training under a mentor and having an apprentice name: NimblePaw. When you have trained adaquately, I shall give you your changed warrior name. If you still wish to stay, that is."

Talonfang made his way, stopping beside Mountainbrook. Laying his tail on her shoulders, he murmured quietly, the ever present cognizant gleam in his amber eyes. "We'll find out soon enough if this works out or not." Stagfire had been his blood relative. Many of his family members were exeptionally cunning and smart, not to mention that their roots were planted in the rogues' canyons. Talonfang had understood why Stagfire had switched sides...seeing as it was pretty clear that the clans were in need of help, whilst the rogues were standing strong. It was little foolish how flamboyant their betrayal was, though. Gaze steadily upon Nimbleflash, Talonfang's ears twitched slightly. Huh. The tom seemed to be looking more or less truthful.

Nimbleflash's eyes seemed to twitch once.
An apprentice? I know more battle tactics then any of these warriors could ever teach me...But if it works....
He sighed to himself, blue eyes clouded.
If it works, than I will have a home. Maybe feel close to PounceSparrow again...I miss you.
Now looking at the sky, he turned his distracted attention to Honeystar again.
"Then I will agree. And if it is of any great condolence to you, I can teach your clan the battle tactics I learned as a rogue." A sharp gulp seemed to break his throat, as the tom fought for words. How could he say this, without causing pain to his...well...Leader?
"The ones that brought you down before."
Nimbleflash was still in a state of shock, his reputation hadn't burned all of him it seemed. Though he would return as an apprentice, he'd still have a life. Even if he particularly despised Maplefur, she was an elder now. It made no difference to him. Honeystar seemed more harsh than the past leader, a cat who would make much more sense to him. Though he hated to admit it with every fiber of his being, she was sensible in her actions.
"However, I won't be Nimblepaw. The name killed a warrior once, and it brings a plague to the clan I do not wish upon anyone..."
Again, he choked a bit. The kindness he was working on practically burned his throat, but he had changed, and though it was still new and hard for him, he'd yet learn to be more caring. Asides from Pouncesparrow, whom he'd always love, of course.
"I take a new name, if you agree, Speedpaw. It's what I'm known for after all."
He added,
"Asides from being the typical murderous traitor, of course."
!*!*!*!*!*!*!*!*!*!*!*!*!
Mountainbrook looked at Talonfang, a muffle 'Hrmph' under her breath. She couldn't possbly see ever forgiving the tom, let alone trusting him in the clan. It was proposterous.
"I don't trust him....Perhaps his mentor can change him, but I say it'd take a cat greater than all of StarClan to do that. Although it seems like Pouncesparrow already did that."
She confided, ignoring the pain the thought of the gray murdering her sister brought.

"Learning Rogue battle tactics would be of great use to the clan, SpeedPaw." HoneyStar paused, gold eyes regarding the new 'apprentice' with a meaning impossible to read. She almost wanted to tell him to shut up and quit trying to sugar his words... his all too obvious effort to maintain civil conversation was having an effect on her like nails to a chalkboard... but then she didnt want him mouthing off to the world, either. Indicisive, said nothing other than to give a short shallow sigh. "I'll call a meeting in a moment to announce this agreement; it probably wont be pretty. Be ready for unhappy cats." She made a face, anticipating all the PO'ed cats she'd have to convince for this traitor's sake. It'd be worth it, though... she hoped.
((End of post?? Or do u want to rp the meeting?...))

((Does this mean my mentoring wasn't good? Because everyone knows that Snakebite was incredibly kindhearted...perhaps >.< lol.))
