Seekingpaw stood in the middle of no where... The woods consumed her. She had no idea were she was... all she knew was that she wanted to have moment of peace a moment to figure thing out. It ad all happened so fast. She was an apprentice now... with a mentor... she had been pick out of the dirt and brought into a world with other cats. The clan was welcoming but nothing seemed just to fall into place. She started walking again. Still think about her clan she thought of all the cats until one who she was trying so hard to forget poped into her mind. There was Bearpaw... he seemed so nice. He welcomed her and keeped her warm when she first came at the ending of the harsh winer with his thick black coat.
She hadn't seen him in while though...it hurt her deeply thinking he was gone. She had become attached to him.It almost seemed that if he left she would die. Her live had never gone as planed and this proved it. She had never hoped of falling so deeply for someone and then have them disappear in what seemed like was a wisp of smoke. Her heart ached with sorrow and her mind was brought down. She would have to forget about him... there was no way some one like that would want to be with her anyway. She looked around she had gone a long way from camp. Yet, she had been here before.
Around it all seemed peaceful... until she finally got to the middle of the field. The once bright and vivid green grass was stain with a scarlet river. Nothing looked perfect anymore. She knew where she was. The Battle Field, a place of death and misery. I almost seemed perfect irony... except for the fact that it scared her. Nothing was solaceing... about this place there was no comfort in the grass. The sun seemed to turn into a black that enveloped her.
Backing away from the blood stain she sat at the corner of large area... as tears welled up in her Extremely light blue orbs with all their shiny silver flecks. Her light brown multicolor pelt that normally shimmered beyond beauty dimmed. It seemed she would never be able to be happy she would never find her family there was no hope.

There was a difference between Frescosky and his siblings. Big differences actually. Karasu was wild and always trying new things out. While Blissstorm was calm and liked working with herbs. He on the other hand would rather be peaceful but explore. He was a mix of different things. Just like the fact that he liked to make things. Although that was hard when you didn't have paws. Leaping up over a fallen log he found himself in the battlefield. What was this strange place of misery and death? It intrigued him despite how it seemed to want to push you away. Still, as he walked on it was as though he could feel the paws of many cats running into battle. To die for what they believe in. Or to simply do what another told them too do. The young tom stopped his ears flicking. As he looked around he was consumed by the many different emotions that this place seemed to give off. It made his pelt prickle. Whether from fear or respect for the dead, this he did not know.
Padding forward to where he was nearing the middle of the field he suddenly stopped dead in his tracks. His head looked both ways. For some reason he had been slightly over come by some fear. As though he had become the one in battle. But what battle? As he looked over the blood stained grass and dirt he felt a lump in his throat. The tom back away and hissed out of aggravation. He then turned and started to run back across the field to the edge. But he stopped halfway when he caught the scent of another. Not the old cats that seemed to haunt this place. But a living that seemed saddened.
The multicolored tom found himself padding toward the scent and now the sound as he pointed his ears toward the other cat. He felt stupid for not noticing her earlier. Still he went on stopping a couple fox lengths away. He lowered his head slightly to look out at her his eyes curious and his position nonthreatening. So he hoped. "May I perhaps ask why you are out here in such a... Lonely place, that has the scent of death upon it?" He asked lifting his head up a bit more.

Seekingpaw was being oblivious she hadn't notice the cat walk out into the Battle Field. Until he spoke behind her and her fragile heart skipped a beat. She whirled around. Immediately calming down when she saw a calm faced tom standing there.
His words were..."May I perhaps ask why you are out here in such a... Lonely place, that has the scent of death upon it?"
"To tell you the truth I don't know... I guess I am just trying to figure things out. I don't think you'd understand." Seekingpaw sighed a discontent sigh. Her world was coming to an end... and she had no hero. No one would care if she were to suddenly go missing. Or if she died. Some might say that they felt bad, but no one would truly miss her. No could love a young she-cat when her own family didn't even care enough to want her. She had no memory of them. One day she just woke up alone in a meadow as a kit... helpless. An older she cat had taken her in... but she had passed away when she was only 5moons.
Seeking was cursed to live... sometimes she wished she could just die. Than she would be put out of her misery and the world would be a better place. Which was why she was here she guessed... if this idea had never been instilled in her mind she would probably be in a lot happier place right now. Like a pretty meadow not a Field filled with the cold unforgiving ghosts of battles of yesterday.
AS she came back to earth she looked at the stranger with her strange eyes which still seemed sad.

Frescosky tilted his head slightly. His amber eyes the pupils edged with green were strange as hers. Yet he found himself liking her eyes. She seemed to be distant and hurt some how. The tom wanted to help some how, but that was another thing he didn't know how to go about. Perhaps to just to help he could simply talk to her, or just listen. That he could easily do. So he took another small step forward head still tilted down slightly to avoid any misunderstanding about hostile intentions.
"Perhaps I could try to understand." He replied sitting down and curling his tail around to cover his paws. Now he was watching her carefully his gaze soft. It was probably obvious he was not a clan cat. On top of that his scent held a slight twoleg scent to it. Since he lived around the alley's and sometimes took food from twolegs. But he could still hunt, which came in handy.

Seekingpaw looked over her shoulder. Closeing her eyes she slowly turned around. Looking at him... he was nice. He was multicolred much like herself... and had strange eyes like she did but his were a mixture of amber and green.
Silence followed his inevitable qeustion. "Perhaps I could try to understand."
She tought about it... really... what could it hurt? She thought. "Well I'm Seekingpaw, first off." She half whispered to him. Being her usual shy self.
Her eye contact didn't last very long ... she broke it by looking to the left. Feeling heat under her pelt on her face.

Frescosky nodded slightly. The name sounded like it was frrom the clans. His father had once been in a clan. Although he never spoke of why he left. Not to mention Winterpaw was still his name. It confused Frescosky to why his father still had a clan name even though he was no longer in a clan.
"I am called Frescosky. But the ones I know simply call me Fresco or just Sky." He said giving his name. "So you are in a clan, which one? My father once belonged to a clan I believe." The multicolored tom added calmly. He had not noticed the sudden heat under her fur.

"Sky will work. Maple... I am in Mapleclan. Its not like I am clanborn though." She purr in her hushed tone. She looked at him her eyes showing all her emotions. Pain, Misery, Curiosty, and the fear.
Silence was a friend at this point and it crept up at her. Smuthering her in it. Until she meowed...
"Well... its a long story. I do you really want to hear it. It's not a happy one."
Wrapping her tail around herself she laid down. Waiting...waiting for him to say that he really didn't care. That he rather wouldn't listen to the pain of a worthless apprentice. Her head lay heavy on her paws as she waited for him to leave her like everyone else...

Frescosky tilted his head slightly. He wanted to know what had happened to this young she-cat to make her show those types of emotions in her eyes. It already seemed that she expected him to walked away without a second thought. But to be frank, he would be disgusted with himself if he did that. Instead of walking away he stood and padded over to sit beside her to get more comfortable and such.
"My ears shall be yours for as long as you need them." He replied with a friendly purr. Allowing his tail to curl itself back around his paws he resumed sitting as he had been a moment ago, just a little closer. Perhaps as he had been thinking, all she needed was someone to listen to her, to treat her well. He could easily do that, so he hoped. Normally he was friendly, so doing this shouldn't be harder then the other times. "I have not had much sadness in my life. Perhaps a sad tail will help me understand how lucky I am." He added.

"My ears shall be yours for as long as you need them."
"Really? Thank you."
"I have not had much sadness in my life. Perhaps a sad tail will help me understand how lucky I am."
"You truely are lucky... I wish I was you, sky. You have a family... a father. Someone to look up to. I have no one. When I was born my family left me... or lost me. Not careing enough to look apparently. I woke up in a feild much like this one. I was only a new born... and i cried but no one came. No mother, No father, No siblings. I was a lone in the world for two until a elderly she-cat found me. She was a loner... and cared for me until i was4moons old. She died on my birthday... I was young and lost... times were rough and i stavred, and went through harsh leaf bares..." As she talked... tears welled up in her eyes. Many falling down her pelt covered cheeks. "I am unloveable, you don't need to show me pitty by listening to the rest..."
Sighing she Her tail wrapped her... and the sky seemed to grow dim. Threatening to rain... but if it did the two would be safe in a thick cover of brush and trees at the corner of the battle feild.

Frescosky tilted his head slightly. It was obvious she had not had much love, or kindness shown to her. And what she had, had surely had not been enough. He flicked his tail slightly standing up. For a moment it may have seen he was leaving. But instead he looked up at the sky. "Many cats don't really like the rain. I don't mind it. As I do not mind this field. Things that make you sad can inspire you to go forward and find happiness. Perhaps, you can do this." He spoke calmly looking back down at her. The tom leaned down and nudged her shoulder slightly with his nose.
"I do not believe that anyone is unlovable." He said pulling back slightly still looking at her his eyes soft. "If you wish you may finish." The tom added sitting back down and curling his tail back around his paws.

Maybe I can... I don't know. The tears fell down ... slowly but they did.Her strage eyes saddened.
I do not believe that anyone is unlovable...If you wish you may finish She sighed... starting to speak. Sky...I-I don't kn-... fine... I joined the clan. I was trying to get food in the wood... I didn't know anything about the clans. When a black tom pounced on me. He was my age and an aprentice. He was so kind to me... he took me in shared everything. Warmth a bed... a home. I-I think I loved him. Now he's gone. Disapeared... I haven't seen him in a very long time. So here I am left alone and unloved, Again.
Her eyes welled up with tears again and she cried. No happiness was left. Everything in her life had gone wrong. How could it get better?

Frescosky did not liker to see anyone so unhappy. He felt sorry for her and wished to reach out to her some how. But he was unsure how exactly to do so. She seemed so confused. Direction seemed like something that was missing in her situation. Being raised slightly a loner by his parents, and considering that his parents weren't softies he certainly had become a soft cat. Flicking his tail slightly he leaned down a bit his head tilted.
"Please do not cry. I am sure that things shall some day work out. " Optimism, well that was how he was usually. "You still have your clan, yes? That is a good thing. As my father had explained, the clan is treated as your family. So he told my sisters and I." Maybe it was having two sisters that had made him a bit of a softy. On the other hand Karasu could get rough. "And do not worry. You are not alone." He said with a friendly smile. "Not while I'm here at least." The tom added.
((Ah, I checked with Marrow. He can join the clan with her. XD))

She just looked at him. He was so nice. Any other loner she had meet had been rude an Territorial mocking her... Listening to his words Intently what she took from it was that he would befriend her.
She leaned on his shoulder and stopped crying. "No... everyone thing I love or have Befriended had left me or past on. How do I know that you wont suddenly spontaneously cumbust and that this is all just a dream or you are a figment of my imagination?"
She looked at him. He looked like he was serious. Like he was careing... like he would actually stand by her though her thick and thin times. "Do you promise?" It was hushed and like a whisper. Half purred. She closed her eyes and waited for his response.

Frescosky let out a slight purr of laughter. "I do not believe that I am a dream or a figment of ones imagination. Also I am not sure that it is possible for a cat to spontaneously combust." He replied to the worries she voice. The tom was glad that she had stopped crying though. It also seemed that she was trusting him. But now an easy thing to do was to say that he promised.
"Yes. I do promise." He replied voice just a bit louder then hers. Yet it was not hard to hear or see that he did mean it. As far as he knew he had yet to lie to anyone and he did not plan to ever start.

Seekingpaw looked at Sky... she trusted him. She had no idea why. They had just met under random cercomstances... and had never met before that... and yet! He knew more than anyone else in the world.
Purring she rubbed his head gently agaist his. Showing she trusted him. "I trust you."
Her large strange blue orbs with silver flecks stared at him. In a loveing way. Even though she was in the clan... he not only felt more like family than anyone else... but he felt closer than that.
She smiled for the first time in a very long time. It was only early morning... and the sky seemed to obsorb all the her worries untill it just couldn't hold it anymore. The sky let the rain fall down, and yet she was still happy. Happy... Happy had never been in her vocabulary before and now suddenly Sky had brought it into her world.
