A great rippling roar filled the air of the loners meadow, suspense crackling within. GoldTalon yowled in command, climbing the tree besides the barn and taking stance way up on the roof.
"Cat's of PewterClan! As warriors you've commited your loyalty, and I ask you to show it now! I am Goldstar, and PewterClan belongs to us! CrescentClan is under siege, and it is now that we must go. Dawnstar and her clan will fall just like we did without troops, and I sure as StarClan will not allow us to be driven from our home again. Tonight, we reclaim PewterClan! Tonight, blood will be shed, and strength will be proved. Let that strength be our own! We go now, for battle, for the better, and for what is right. Warriors, if you are not wishing to come with me, then you are no Clan cat in my eyes. Fogberry, remain here with the kits and elders. I leave Depthvision and one other warrior here to defend you. PewterClan, move out!"
The golden leader leapt down limb by limb, giving on final yowl and racing off at the head of the group. Whil he ran, he meowed back ocaisional orders.
"Havoccrypt, you will be on the defense when we arrive. Keep by their nursery and protect their kits. Aceslash stay with him. You make a great team. Flammingsong and Westwind, find out if Dawnstar needs to get cats out of the camp and help her remove them. The rest of you, go in full heart and fight!"

"Yeah!" Redspirit yowled loudly. She was finally going to destroy the monster that killed her mother. She longed to kill the muderer and feel the blod spill.
"Momma can I please go with them?" Logankit looked up at her mother. "Everyone including you are going to fight."

The light green eyes of the black warrior sharpened, narrowing dangerously as he watched the golden tom run, still issuing orders. He had returned not to long ago back to the PewterClan group, after living with his best friend, and his brother, at Aditoath's old place, where he would always go as an apprentice. After she had come to live with him, he had stopped that. However, there were some things, that he never stopped. Like his attitude,
"One moment he acts as though he doesn't care if we follow him, the next he is back to ordering us around as though we are nothing more then his puppets. Makes me angry. I don't care if this is a time of battle, we have no idea what is going to happen, that strange rogue wouldn't speak to any of us aside from him, so we are left in the dark. What, are we suppose to follow him in blind faith or something? Please. I'll guard the kits, but only because I love to turn them rebellious, as well as the apprentices. He just better not act as though he is so much greater then us, when in rogue territory, there is a different order. And besides, last time I fought beside him, I almost got killed." Drawing his maw back into a snarl, the black tom followed Goldstar, only, his mind wasn't on battle. It was far away, with his mate. She would be fighting out there without him or his brother. If she were to die, then he wouldn't know what would happen. He would only have to hope that she wouldn't. That alone though, didn't clog up his thoughts. Rather, it was the fact that he had managed to speak with Renegade as a kit, and survive. He didn't remember much of that day, and hadn't even known who he had spoken too until an apprentice. Why the cruel tom had let him live was something that he hadn't been able to figure out, and probably never would.
Turning, Havoccrypt looked for Aceslash. He would go in with his brother, and fight beside him, just like when they were apprentices. The bonds were not just blood deep, they were beyond that.
And then, once more, the truth came crashing down upon the young tom. The whole reason he had his brother had come back to PewterClan was because Aditoath was gone. She had just left one night, never to be seen again. Anger, hurt really, surged through the tom, as he thought of that, although he his whatever emotions he was facing strongly. >><<
Pelt gleaming, even in the dim light, Flammingsong's brillant amber eyes gleamed, her stance ready for battle. Tonight, she would once more dance the dance of battle, and hope to come out alive. Yet, there was always the chance that she wouldn't. Dark thoughts could come later though, after battle. Tonight, under the guidance of StarClan, PewterClan, CresentClan, and all others who would be fighting against Renegade, there would be hope. Hope to win, even though it was possible that they would once more fall under his claw, as they had done so hard the last time. "For better or for worse, we shall fight as one!" Flammingsong yowled, her own battle cry, before dashing off, fire colored pelt gleaming as though she was a wildfire herself. It was time...

Depthvision, always a queen at heart but lacking the mate to become so, padded eagerly over to Logankit and smiled.
"Logankit, it's not really all that exciting. Blood everywhere, eyeballs falling out, honestly you're lucky to be here. Why don't you get a bit of shut eye? The time will fly, and before you know it, PewterClan will be here to get us again."
She purred, wanting to keep the kit entertained.
"Are you excited to be an apprentice, young one?" She crooned.

"I fought last time and so did my siblings. We barely got a scratch and Skypaw fought as a kit too! I don't understand! I can easily get those rouges if apprentices worked together! I'd die as a kit just so my clan would be forever!" She scowled. "See this claw? i've had this since I was born!" She showed Depthvision her claw that had bled when she was born. "I think it means that I am to battle as a kit. I've done it once and I'll do it again." Her fur was fluffed up.

Depthvision knew how young cats often fancied of battle, but this was a bit much for her area of expertise.
"Logankit, it's a dishonor to your clan to fight without the proper training. The first part of being a warrior is to obey your elders. They are more experienced, and they know what is best. Look at Havoccrypt! He acted out of line, and he paid great consequence. Of course, following the rules after that can earn back your privlidges, but my father Goldstar knows what he is doing. I trust him."
She spoke fondly of her father, though inside she wished her mother would be here now to help him. It was something they cherished...

Midnightsun walked up behind Logankit and shook her head. "Logankit. You will not fight. Think of what will happen if something happened to you! The only reason Skypaw got to fight is because she knew a little about fighting." She sighed "You know nothing yet. Now, please stay here. Plus you do not want to do what Havaccrypt did when he was an apprentice." She looked to Depthvision and smiled. "Thank you for trying to get her to stay." She looked back at Logankit. "Skypaw will stay here and watch you your sister, and two brothers." She licked the top of her head. "Be good please." Midnightsun turned and followed the rest of her clan.
Skypaw yawned as she walked over to sit beside Logankit. "Don't worry, it will all be over soon." Skypaw looked around and motioned for Treekit to come over. "Midnightsun will be back soon. Though to pass the time do you want a story?" Treekit shruged her shoulders.

((But Havoc is the perfect role-model! After all, nearly every clan knows of him since his little stunt as an apprentice at a gathering. xD))

(( Lol. That'd be funny if she followed Havoccrypt's steps in a way. ))
