A dusty brown colored she cat seemed to appear suddenly from nowhere, her eyes bright as she dashed around the canyon in leaps and bounds, just asking for a broken neck. But bad luck had always spared this she cat, for some odd reason, and she made it across the little section without any injury, a sparrow clutched in her jaws. She was a smaller then average cat, almost smaller then an apprentice. Her agile manner though, suggested that there was something more behind that soft exterior.
Everyone always called her Mouse, although her birth name had been Kiri. Like with many things though, it had faded away to the point that she couldn't even remember it anymore. Honestly, it wasn't missed much. Everything was done for a reason, and if she was to be stripped of her birth name, then so be it. At least, that was what Mouse had always been set to as she often failed to do something. Death had always eluded her, no matter how many times she had been looking into it's gaping jaws without fear. She was bold, but she was foolish to no end. For one thing, she refused to see any bad in anyone. Even the darkest cat could just walk up to her, and she wouldn't even see them as everyone else saw them, rather, she would see them as a lost soul whom she was destined to help. Her flaw had already almost cost her what she had in this life more then once, but she just couldn't pick up on the darkness it seems.
Maybe it was because she fell off a overhang once as a kit... Who knows really. All that mattered right now to her, was the fact she had reached a den that she thought to be empty, as her nose told her that scents were faint. Well, through the sparrow that is. With a graceful leap to the entrance, the she cat called Mouse shook her pelt off, and sat down for a good grooming. She would eat the sparrow later.
This cave had some weird feelings to it though...

The putrid stench of crowfood reeked as a silver tom approached from the end of the cavern. Renegade was always the cat to turn on his personal charm at any moment, mainly due to the fact he wished that even after his death he could access revenge on his father through his kits. The more he had, the better his chances. Every she-cat was a potential target, and this one had stumbled straight to him. Slinking momentarily into the corner, Renegade pulled a fistfull of mud and slathered it onto his wounds, first mixing the Trader Arist's black dye into it. To the she-cat, he would appear merely a slotched tom, and an amiable one at that. Quickly lapping up the Spice Mint she had given him, his breath began to smell entrancingly of a two-leg breath mint. Rubbing up against the stone wall to remove any fur out of place, he smiled cunningly and swiftly padded into the mouth of the cave. "A good eve to you, fair cat. It seems perhaps of clairvoyance you have happened to stumble into my cave...I find myself rather bored at the moment. I am Sinister Dreams, but you may call me Sin. An unfortunate name though it is, one cannot undo the decisions of his...Most beloved mother. I take it upon my pleasure to make your aquiantence. May I ask who I have the honor of welcoming to my humble home?"Evil upon his face was masked heavily by his now gleaming eyes. It was difficult to distiguish what lie behind them, his practice at concealing emotions secondary nature to his cruelty. ((Haha.....Sinister dreams. ))

As soon as the young, foolish Mouse was aware that she was not alone, a scent came to her, something that made her very happy, something familiar and mouthwatering. There was something about the scent of two leg mint that just drove Mouse to the one who smelled like it, and she had gotten lucky this time it seemed. The one who had eaten it was in the same cave with her, she should go make friends with him! A lack of fear as she turned to look at the other cat brimmed in her blue eyes as she was obviously excited to see another cat. The aura of this cat was dark, which only made her so much more interested in him, as she knew that she would be able to heal this soul, as long as she got the chance too.
As she turned to face whom she had seemingly stumbled onto, her breath caught. He was a different color then the usual cats she saw day in and day out, and she was breathless by the sudden attraction she flet for him, the need to be around him. It went beyond the pelt color, and the breath. It was like a jab in the gut, as if things were meant to be here.
"My aplogoies, my good sir, for stumbling upon your little home. I had thought this cave to be empty, but it seems that my sparrow had blocked most of my senses."
Manners had always been big with her, a trait that few actually could understand. That was Mouse for you though, nothing was very clear about what she ever did, other then the whole 'trying to help everyone who needed it' thing. A death wish, you say? It goes far beyond that, I'm afraid.
"The pleasure is mine Sin. I am called Mouse." Dipping her head to the breath taking stranger she had seemingly stumbled upon, Mouse's light blue eyes seemed to just radiate good will, and the foolishness of her very being. Easy prey, for one willing to take her...

Sin laughed brilliantly, the echoes of Renegade fading away inside of his cold heart as the lie consumed his form. His master charm was like a snake, and he wooed the she-cat with soft, gentle eyes. His elated pleasure seeme donly to grow as the rain started slowly, and then storming rapidly before his ever-watching gaze. Sin turned with kind eyes towards Mouse.
"Well then, dearest Mouse it is a very good thing you've stumbled here when you did! The weather is mose bizzare today...My home is welcome to you."
He dipped his head beack to the she-cat, flisking his tail and motioning further into the cave. He ripped into his bedding, putting half of it across from him. Hooking a previous meal into his claws, Sin sat down in his nest and looked at her wistfully.
((Dead, horrible post. My apollogies.))

((My fault there, probably. I'm really bad at cats like Mouse. xD))
As that rain started up once more, Mouse turned away from the captivating tom to stare into the misty sky, obviously wondering how the day had turned so bad once again. What had happened to the sunlight? It seemed that only moments ago she had been happily hunting in it, and letting it warm herlight brown fur. Oh well, it seems that the weather changed faster then Mouse coud just do something rather random, which was an impressive feat for anyone, or thing. Turning back to the strange tom called Sin, Mouse nodded quickly.
"It was so nice and sunny this afternoon, I wonder what is up with this weather." Fluffing her pelt out slightly, Mouse absently finished her sparrow in a few gulps, attention turned back to the rain as though it was the most fascinating thing she had ever seen. Although she would always mean the best, Mouse's attention span wasn't always the best, and had been known to frusterate more then one cat. It seemed that the cave was growing colder and colder though, causing the younger she cat to shiver slightly, before she followed Sin deeper into the cave, having caught the tail flip out of the corner of her eye.
It was warmer, she noted, the further she got away from the rain, a fact that suprised her to no end. "I never guessed the rain was so cold. It is much warmer back here." Obviously astonished about what she had figured out, Mouse watched Sin for a moment, unsure of how to go on. She knew that she shouldn't keep herself cold, that was never a good thing, but her other cave was far away, and she didn't care for getting her pelt plastered to her already small frame. Well, maybe this mysterious tom would know what to do, Mouse sure hoped he did. She really didn't want to leave, for some unknown reason...
"How long do you think this storm is going to keep up? I need to get back to my den so I can be warmer."
The perfect picture of innocence...
