((Thread for the missing kits of MapleClan only.))
The snow was gone as fast as it had come, although all through the night, the small cave had been rocked with it's pure fury, blinding white and dangerous to everyone who had been out during the fierce storm. Although, in the mist of that blizzard, a few lives had been saved. Their hero was an unknown tom, one who had always had a softer spot for kits and those younger then the adult. he had given them shelter and food, not to mention a warm nest. They had been freezing, near death, thin pelts plastered flat against their small frames. Scent had identified them as MapleClan kits, and even though rogues had a dislike for all clans, it would have been cruel to let them just freeze to death, although the fear in most of their eyes had been clear. It was obvious why rogues and clans hated each other; each was raised up with the stories of bloodshed and loss, until each side was fighting for reasons that they didn't even remember. It was a sad fact in this life, but oh so true.
Expectedly, the kits had chose him, the lesser of two evils. They may have been young, but they were bright. And now, as the sun warmed the dark brown tom, it was time to see what would happen now that they weren't on the verge of death. If they wanted to leave, then he would escort them back to MapleClan, and hope not to get mauled by the clan cats for his kindness. Or, they could stay, and he could be their teacher. A 'mentor' as the clanners called them. Some would probably go home, and some would want to stay. There was only one way that they would train though, and that was if all of them agreed to it. If just one wanted to go home, then they all went home. Eyes that were darker then his pelt watched the small spring that ran through his territory with a lazy air. Dimitri had always been an early riser, and he didn't expect the kits to be up so soon anyways.
He would really have to get their names, eventually. They already knew his, he had told them as they had devoured what he had hunted before the storm had hit. Stretching in the sun, Dimitri turned, having heard a noise in the burrow. It seemed that someone was awake, and once one was, everyone was. Time to figure this out, and for him to see what exactly was going to happen with these courageous little kits.
Lets hope for the best here.

Little golden eyes peaked out from the bottom of the cave entrance, a little red-headed kit shuffled into the white-washed light. Though the weather was now collected and subdued, the remaining fallen snow still fascinated the barely-weaned she-cat. Grackles squawked, cardinals chirped, and up in the trees the ringing of a woodpecker echoed. Oh, so peaceful... "HAHAHA ARCTICKIT, I'M THE FIRST OUT!" Woodkit left the cave in a charge; fur fluffed and ears back in pure kit arrogance. She had no idea how serious they're past and current situation was. She had no idea how frantic her parents were. All that mattered was, of course, beating her den mates at everything. That counted on aim, too. She slammed right into Dimitri, making her fall backwards and sink into the snow. "Mmmf. Oh, hello bear-cat! Ummmm, Diiimeter. Right?"

As Woodkit sank into the snow, there was a soft 'oof' sound, and seemingly out of nowhere, a black and white raccoon marked kit popped out from the steadily melting snow, eyes bright with laughter. "You loose Woodkit! I was already out here!" The little kit sang, pouncing at her den mate. Over the small journey, the two had become fast friends, although it was mostly in competition. After all, they just had to prove that they were better then the other, and what better way then to freeze themselves half to death in the process? Nothing that they could think of, at least, as the thoughts flickered quickly past their minds. Really nothing stuck around too long in a kit's mind, unless it was beating somone.
Gazing up at the large tom, she grinned at him, totally unafraid of him, although he was one of the rogues that as a kit she had been warned about. How come all the warriors said rogues were so evil anyways? This one had meant them no harm, and in fact, had even saved them in the storm! Warriors must be wacked, Arctickit thought to herself as she watched the large tom. "Hello!" She meowed loudly, beaming up at the strange tom.
>><<
A soft chuckle escaped Dimitri as the small kit ran into him, having been too concerned with beating her den mate to watch where she had been going, all the while not knowing that her den mate had just exited the den not seconds before her. And of course, his nick name was always great. He had always supposed it came from his size, and that first night when they had seen him. It really didn't matter, they seemed to like him, and weren't afraid of him. Maybe the tales of all rogues being pure evil hadn't actually sunk into their being yet. It was nice to meet a few unmarked clan cats, even if they just lived for the moment. "Close. It is Dimitri." The chocolate colored tom mewed in his deep voice, darker eyes dancing with amusment.
"I have a question for everyone." Playfull look gone, there was a serious air to him now as he watched the two kits out here, not wanting to wake the others until they were ready.
"Do you want to stay here, or go back to your clan?"

((Muahahaha! Crazy kitty!))
Behind a rock a small black apprentice aged cat hid. Her large glacier blue eyes peered from around the boulder, suspiciously glaring at the other kits around Dimitri. No, not just Dimitri, her hero Dimitri. Her glance turned into one of worry as she watched the clan scum knock into him and act like the barbarians they were. She had never been like that. Well, she told herself she hadn't, even though in truth she was only a couple moons older than the Mapleclan kits.
She observed each one for a moment, and what she saw didn't satisfy her. They were monsters! She didn't know how to describe what she saw other than that they seemed to be trying to cook Dimitri over an open fire like two-legs did. Frozen blinked vigorously, that couldn't be right. Shaking her head a little, she looked again, and what she saw made a little better sense. They now were just attacking Dimitri by bumping into him. It would be the perfect time to save him.
Jumping up from her crouch, she barreled from behind the rock and almost hit the big tom, but she swerved just in time and came to a stop in front of him. From this angle she saw his back, instead of his face, and memories came back to her that she'd almost forgotten. He was the one who'd saved her yes, but he'd also turned into a hideous thunderpath monster. That's why she had run. Her eyes narrowed in confusion. That couldn't be right, but her warped memories told her it was. She took a step back and tripped over a rock into a pile of powdery snow. She struggled for a moment in the feathery coldness before finally getting up, having almost completely forgotten why she'd shown herself in the first place.
"Hi," she said lamely, her eyes slightly unfocused and wandering to look at all the kits around him, "I didn't know toms could have litters..."

"Whose this wierdo?" A stark scrawny white kit with piercing winter blue eyes asked in cruel tones as he exited the den they'd sheltered in. He scratched one ear with his back paw while scanning around to see which of his denmates hadnt frozen to death. Grimacing, he realized that all of his siblings had survived. And he'd been so excited about the prospect of having Mother all to himself... He finished looking around and focoused back on the odd apprentice-aged Rogue. He didnt dislike Frozen because she was a Rogue; he was just being rude as he always was to anyone and everyone(other than Mother, of course!). Of all the kits, Frozen would most likely think him the most barbaric of all. "ADHD schizophrenic combo?" Without waiting for an answer, the hateful little cat turned towards the left over prey, tripped over a bone, and fell face first into the snow. Cursing with words no kit should know, he sat up and shook himself off, sending snow chips flying at anyone within range. "Who leaves stuff like this lying around?!" He kicked the bone which had been hidden from his sight by the snow, but only succeeded in brusing his own foot.

"Toms can't. We actually come from MapleClan, and after getting lost in the snowstorm, we were found by Dimitri here, and saved." A soft voice wrang out from the den, before a young she cat, sister of nearly every cat out here aside from Arctickit, stepped out of the den. As the sun caught her pelt, sending a healthy shimmer to it, her black splashes were very obvious against the background, although for the most part the young kit could blend in well with the scenery. Two different colored eyes were quick to take in the scene, Woodkit and Arctickit were at it again, Bonekit was rude as usual, and Dimitri just seemed amused. The strange cat however, was something of interest for Prismkit. There was something off about her, something that she had never seen in the clan before. Nevermind the fact that she hadn't seen a lot of things that were outside of the clan, that information wasn't something that Prismkit found important. After all, what all could be outside of the clan?
Carefully stepping away from the wet snow that had nearly killed them last night, a fleck of curiousity was evident in her eyes. However, the large tom Dimitri and the new cat didn't know her name, and manners always came first, no matter how annoying they were.
"Before I forget, I'm called Prismkit."
>><<
There was evident suprise from the tom as the familiar black pelted she cat tore across the area, at first seeming to be very focused, only when stopping to loose whatever train of thought that she had. It had been only a few moons since Dimitri had rescued the younger Frozen from drowning and had taught her how to hunt, before she had left one morning. Foolishly, he had thought that he wouldn't see her anymore. Well, it seemed that he had been very wrong about this. It was always nice to see old faces though, so maybe her visit wouldn't be too bad, and it would do good for the kits to speak with her. "Frozen. Long time no see. How have you been?" Dipping his head slightly, dark eyes looking at the younger she cat with curiousity, a faint smile flickered for a moment on his maw, before Bonekit stumbled out of the den. That young kit had always been the most challeneging with him, although he could suspect it had been a mutual thing with everyone. Fixing a slightly stern gaze at the young tom, Dimitri spoke softly, but with a strong tone. "You are not in your clan anymore, young tom. You want it to be clean? Clean it up yourself then. There is nobody to tidy up your mess here." Words of truth, strong yet enough to make a tempermental being angry. They would learn the rules of life here, or they would die before they got a chance to go home. Glancing back as a soft voice rang out, Dimitri found himself greeting once more another cat, only this was one of the kits that he had saved, the other two who were playing in the snow seemed too busy to care about anything else then beating each other. How easily distracted they were.

"Well, hello Dimitri," the cat said pleasantly, "It really is nice to see ya-" Her words stopped almost immediately as new ones stung her ears. Frozen blinked equally blue eyes, although her's were kind and confused, not hateful. Black fur a tad ruffled and splotched with bits of snow she turned her head slowly to Bonekit (right?). She opened her mouth as if to speak, then closed it again and looked away before snapping her head back to him. "Cruel." she whispered softly, her head tilting as if she were listening to something else; other voices that no one but she could hear. This time when she turned back to Dimitri, and Prism, she didn't look back. "Prism...kit." she muttered, half to herself, "I already know that you're a kit. Anyways, Prism kit isn't good grammar. The correct way would be Prism the kit, or maybe your name is Kit, so it would be Kit, the prism. That doesn't make sense though..." She had trailed off and could barely be heard, backed away from the crowd and slightly behind Dimitri.

BoneKit let out a little snicker and sat down, tail wrapped around his paws, blue eyes fixed upon the young Rogue she-cat. Mentally retarted cats are so fun to watch! A cat like him could sit and be entertained by them all day and never loose their origional amusement. Dimitri's sharp comment was forgotten the instant Frozen began puzzling over PrismKit's name. "I'm Kit, the bone. Or Bone, the kit. Whichever you prefer." He spoke up to confuze Frozen even more. If he didnt cut it out, Dimitri would probably kick him out of the group to find his own way back to MapleClan. Which was fine with him. He'd just order some cat to take him back to MapleClan. If cats here obeyed orders... What if they dont obey me? Suddenly terrified of being kicked out to survive on his own, BoneKit slunk back into the den and peered out nervously, his tail tip twitching. Maybe it would be best if he were quiet for awhile.

Frozen concentrated on her paws seriously, her eyes narrowed slits. She was no longer musing on Prismkit's name, but on other matters that were for her mind, and her's alone. Anyways, no one else would probably understand what went on in her brain. Her thoughts were as indiscernible as Bonekit was haughty. AS if she had heard the kit's thoughts, her eyes glanced up darkly to meet his.
"I'm not slow in any way, and you would do well to keep your mouth shut Kit, the bonehead." she quickly looked back down at her paws, her anger out of her system, she looked towards Prismkit, "Eh, Prism, isn't Kit a she-cats name...? I could be wrong, but I mean, his voice is rather high." she frowned and shrugged. She wasn't trying to be mean, but just speaking her mind. She didn't realize what she said was rude and uncalled for (even if Bonekit did deserve it).

BoneKit's jaw dropped. Fascinated, he leaned nearer, nearly falling out of the shelter as he did so. Woah. Not mentally retarted? What is she, then? Frozen was infinitely more interesting than she'd been two seconds ago. Multiple personality disorder? On and off spiritual possession? "Hmm." BoneKit's ears twitched as he considered posibilities, then gave up with a slight shrug to himself. Forgetting where he was standing, he leaned forward again in a second attempt to see her closer. This time he actually did fall out of the nest and onto PrismKit, who was standing at the base of the shelter-den. "Watch it, PrismKit!"

A sharp hiss came from the normally gentle she cat as she rounded on Bonekit, maw drawn back into a snarl. She had enough of his obvious attitude toward everyone aside from Willowgrace, and now that there was no way she could get in trouble, she was going to let him know exactly what was on her mind, no matter what. "No. You should be paying more attention Bonekit. You fell onto me, meaning that it was your fault. But do you own up to it? No. You never do, it is always someone else's fault. Always, you blame someone else, and then go off and be rude to everyone aside from mother, who for some reason it seems you are sucking up too. And you know what? I'm sick of it. I'm sick of you trying to prove your better then everyone else, that you don't have to have manners, you can do whatever the heck you want. You know what, it is a good thing we got lost in the storm, you have a lot to learn before you can even think about becoming an apprentice. So you know what Bonekit? Grow up." Harsh words from such a normally kind kit, this was like a moment in history really. Getting up from the place she had been sitting, the young she cat pointedly walked away from the den, and sat beside Frozen and Dimitri, and then addressed Frozen's question. "I don't always understand the clan names either, but they basically are in rank. For example, I'm a kit. That means my name will end in 'kit' to show my status to the world. As I get older, it will change to a 'paw,' meaning I'm a middle ages cat, but not an adult yet. When I become an adult, I get my full name. I don't know what that is though, not yet anyways." Offering a rather timid smile at Frozen, despite her outburst Prismkit was actually rather shy, she shrugged. It wasn't up to her to figure out how the world worked.

BoneKit was silent and still. He seemed to be considering his sister's words, taking her seriously. Then he chuckled. Just a little. That little snicker was like the leak that broke the damn. He doubled over giggling hysterically. "I never knew that inside you were just as mean as everyone else! What a great facade you have going! Even I thought you were naturally sweet and kind!" He kept talking, but it was hard to hear what he was saying through bouts of laughter, though the words 'had everyone fooled' and 'you're just like me, but not proud of it' were discernable. And he was sure asking for it. PrismKit was at least twice his weight and could easily bury him alive. He wasnt registering that mother wasnt around the corner for him to run tattling to if PrismKit tried to kill him.

That was it. The final straw that Prismkit had been desperatly clutching, trying so hard not to loose her temper, which was furious when lost. But this time, the young tom had just gone too far. He was going to pay now, and with no mother around the corner, there was nobody to protect the young tom from her claws. Observing had a way of teaching young cats things that they shouldn't know until they were older, but somehow she just knew about it.
"Bonekit, you don't deserve to consider yourself clan born. I hope you die." Spitting the words out, the young black and white kit launched herself at her sibling, feeling the amazing feel as sharp claws ripped through flesh. She was a good deal larger then the other tom, and now she was going to use her weight against him. Hate glittered in her teo colored eyes, and there was no relent in her fast blows to Bonekit's face and sides. This would teach him what happened. This would teach them all.
"There is no mother to protect you now Bonekit."
The words were a low growl, but threatning all the same as the young kit continued to pummel at the other cat.
What a temper she had!
