Clovertail was walking through the camp when the pain hit her. It felt like a badger had ripped its claws through her stomach. She stumbled, her eyes wide. But... the kits weren't due for another half-moon! She meowed loudly and scrambled to the Nursery. "Shamrockleaf!' she yowled, pacing quickly. "Shamrockleaf!"
Irishpaw and Rainbowpaw dashed in anyways. "Mom!' they gasped in unison. "Go and get..." Clovertrail stopped, wincing. The two dashed out, one to get dad, and the other ot the Medicince cat.

As soon as he heard his mate scream his name, the tom was at her side. Like always. He loved her so much, and would always be there any time she called, any time she was in pain. Shamrockleaf dashed to the nursery, wides wide with surprise. The kits weren't due for at least a half and moon, if not more! Something was defiantly wrong, but knew that Clovertail was be alright. She was strong and would deliver fine. At least nothing would happen while he was with her. "Its okay Clovertail. Its okay. I'm here." Shamrockleaf cooed, acting calmly for her. Inside he was really going insane, but since there last litter he had learned how to control his nerves. Everything was going to be okay, premature wasn't a bad thing... The fatherly tom stroked his mate softly with his tail, placing his paw on her to squeeze. No one gave much credit to the mothers. Giving birth seemed very hard and painful. The dark brown tom smiled at her, concern still leaking through in his deep green orbs. "I'm here." He murmured again, more to reassure himself. Just then something shot up his back, cold and ominous. It was scary... and Shamrockleaf wasn't sure what it was. More like a warning from Starclan, or a spirit breathing cold breath down his back. That did mean anything about the litter, did it?
Thicketpaw raced from the fresh-kill pile, usual mischievous grin replaced with a worried stare. She bolted into the nursery, just to see her mother and father. The kits were coming? The kits were coming?! Everything was going to be okay though, the two of them did it before with her. It was just strange to see her parents this way, and to think she was an older sister! Thicketpaw nodded, and ran to join her sisters. They needed to find the medicine cat!

Irishpaw dashed into the Warriors Den. "HELP!" she yelled. "CLOVERTAIL'S KITS ARE COMING EARLY!" she shrieked.
Rainbowpaw skidded in. "Its okay, mum." she said, glad her mother wasn't looking at her so she wouldn't see the worry in her eyes.
Clovertail knew something was wrong. Last time she hadn't felt this way. So... dizzy. Everything was going in and out of focous, and the voices seemed far away. She was subcouciously aware of Shamrockleaf, but only a little. The she-cat blinked slowly and then she fainted.

The tom sucked in a breath of air, eyes wide with extreme alarm. Yes, something was defiantly wrong, and that thought just made the cold feeling get darker. Shamrockleaf shivered, but all the thoughts about the strange, almost super-natural presence left as his mate rolled unconscious. "Clovertail!" He shouted, bending over to lick her cheek rapidly. There was nothing he could do, he wasn't a medicine cat! Shamrockleaf felt her head and stroked her again, all in quick movements. "Get the medicine cat! Get the leader! Get SOMEONE!" The scared tom yowled at the top of his lungs. Something was very, very wrong. Clovertail didn't faint last time... and it didn't seem so violent. Premature didn't seem like it would cause something terrible to happen, would it? Shamrockleaf was in a complete daze, trying to make everything okay. he couldn't let anything happen to his un-born baby's, and especially his mate. If anything happened to Clovertail, he would be lost.

((Eh... does anyone remember who the Med cat is?))
Rainbowpaw looked around, scared and worried. "What do we do?" she said, suddenly feeling very small.
Clovertail's eyes opened again. She tried to speak, but only a growl came out. ------- Some way, some how, there was a litter of healthy kits at Clovertail's side. She was very dizzy, tired, hungry and thirsty. But her need to take care of her kits was greater. With a dry throat and cracking voice, she said "Nightkit, Shadowedkit, Gravitykit, and Blackkit." she licked each one, pulling them closer.
Irishpaw, who had long since returned, gazed at her new siblings. She leaned over them. "Hi!" she said quietly. "I'm your big sister, Irishpaw." she introduced herself. Rainbowpaw grinned, speaking to her new sisters and brothers as well. "You guys'll love it here."
Nightkit couldn't explain the feeling of need for the figure in front of her. She felt a warmth, some sort of security. She was pleased when the figure pulled her closer.

The small black striped white tom felt warmth as he was pulled against the larger figure beside him, his small pelt brushing unkowningly with Nightkit's. He was focusing on gathering his surrounds without looking, usuing his sense of hearing the most. He heard the rustle of his littermates, the large figure above him, teo smaller yet almost adult figures, and another larger figure. Drawing a small breath for scent, he took in the differant genders all at once. He made a mental nod, storing each of the scents. Every cat here shared a under scent that was the same. They all must be related somehow, Shadowedkit thought. His brain was a whir, and although he hadn't looked, he knew exactly what the genders were, and how many cats were in the room currently. There were also vibes he could feel faintly. Darkness came from him and Nightkit, and there was just a tinge he could sense in the smaller figure she who called herself Irishpaw. Everyone else had a good, yet not perfect vibe. However, as he foucsed, he found a blinding good light from Gravitykit, and Blackkit. It made his skin crawl, and a need to attack seemed to boil under his surface... With an effort, Shadowedkit pulled his thoughts away from that. It took a lot of effort though, making him hungry. For a little while, he nursed, before comming back to snuggle with Nightkit. The one other kit that shared almost the same vibes as him.

Nightkit did the same, though she didn't put as much effort into it. She knew Shadowedkit would be her twin, almost. She squirmed into him, purring at the warmth.
Clovertail smiled at her kits. She turned to look at the rest of her family. Ravenheart dashed in. "Someone told me you had your kits." she said, turning to look at all of her neices, and two nephews.

Shamrockleaf was still as worried as even, ice cold fright running through his veins. Letting out a little breath, which he was holding in the whole time, the tom licked his mate again. At least she was not dead... he heard that a lot of times when a queen went unconscious during birth, she died. Especially the kits being so early. Clovertail was alive, and that was all that mattered. The brown pelted toms green orbs glazed over with another concern as his kits layed by their mother side. Where they alright? Nudging them softly, Shamrockleaf saw them all take a little breath, and was greatly relived. "Clovertail, love... The kits there beautiful." He purred quietly, finally taking a real breath. Just then the cold darkness washed over him again, like daggers stabbing him in the back. There was something wrong... still.
The she-cat padded in, fear scent pulsing out of her like no tomorrow. Her father turned around, a blank expression on his face. The strange aura in the nursery was creeping him out. "Honey, it alright. Mom is just tired, and your brothers and sisters are too." Shamrockleaf mewed in an odd monotone, facing Clovertail again. Thicketpaw grinned almost instantly, skipping over to Rainbowpaw and Irishpaw. "Aww look at 'em! There so tiny! Soo cute!" She squealed softly, not wanting to disturb her mom her new kin. Just then something struck her. Why were all of them black and white? She looked down, and then to her two sisters. They were a mixture of there parents, where these kits were clearly not. Was this a sign from Starclan? Were they sent for a reason, like someone else's destiny that wasn't completed. Thicketpaw's thought wasn't finished, since her new brothers and sisters started to move. "Look!" The apprentice cooed, nudging her two same aged sisters. Was this how she looked when she was this little? Amazing...
Gravitykit squirmed, after laying still for a few moments. He was the biggest kit of litter, and his black pelt dotted with white stood out. The world was so cold, so different. But right now he was hungry, and curious. Immediately he scented his mother, she was the one who brought him into this world, and he loved her immediately. He smelled like her, and yet there was another, and he was in the den also. His father... Gravitykit yawned, but it was clear to see he was very smart. Even for this age, and defiantly brave. There were others in the soft place he was in, that all was like him in a way. But then his attention was turned to the other kits that had been forced to linger with him in the womb. How he hated them. Or at least two of them. Even at such an early age of kit hood, Gravitykit already developed a sense of pure loathing. Something lurched inside of him, and he launched himself on to Shadowedkit. It was not of play, and everyone would learn shortly of how much conflict there would be between him and the bad kits. The evil ones. Blackkit and him were good. Starclan had sent these kits specially to Duskclan... destiny's planned out ready. A era was rising... how much pain and tears of their parents and friends would come is obscured though. Hero's and villains, yet litter mates all the same.

Clovertail grabbed Gravitykit before he could even land. Her eyes were wide. She could sense something between the kits, and it wasn't good. She saw already that Nightkit and Shadowedkit would be close. Gravitykit whoever, would not be.
Nightkit felt something. It was a fire inside of her, and the feeling was so strange, so new, yet she somehow knew what it meant. Her siblings were different for a reason. She ignored this, trying not to dwell on it long. But what a mistake the kit made, for the feeling could have shown her the guilt, regret, sadness, anger, and pain that would come with her choices. Nor did it show her how she could fix them.

Shadowedkit turned and hissed threatningly at Gravitykit, tail lashing slightly. A deep sense of pure hate dwelled inside of him, and if looks could kill, they would have then. His scorching blue eyes were narrowed, and anger played out in them. Hios very black striped white body trembled with rage. His choose to ignore a nagging feeling in the back of his mind, until it left him. After a few more moments of glaring at the other kit, he pointedly turned away, as if saying he was not worth his time. He snuggled back against Nightkit, enjoying her warmth. A soft, rusty purr escaped him as he grinned slightly up at her. Now that the hate was out of his scorching blue eyes, the expression was really cute. It didn't take much to know though, that things would be not good around the kits. Aside from Nightkit that sas. Shadowedkit decided to look around. He grinned at the sisters in front of him in an easy way, though he sizing them up without even knowing it. These kits were smart, and if the adults didn't know it, the would soon.

Nightkit, a little while later, opened her bright, feirce blue eyes. She was cute now, but it was clear by her slender build that she would grow up to be a very beautiful she-cat. She decided that, for now, mom, dad, and her elder sisters were neutrul Territory. As she wiggled over to her tired mother, meowing loudly, she realized the warmth was gone. Something cold and wet suddnly drifted onto her back. She hissed in srprise and turned to see her attacker. It was a snowflake.
Clovertail purred a laugh and licked NIghtkit. "It's just snow, darling." she assured her daughter, trying to ignore Shadowedkits behavior.
Irishpaw and Rainbowpaw cheered. "SNOW!"
