Blue fire shook the rain off her fur as she entered the barn. She held a few mice in her jaws, peace offerings, just in case. She wondered how the Circuit Board would react to her return. She had been gone for countless moons(well, actually about 13) and she was unsure if they would let her back. If they banished her, she wasn't sure what she would do. She couldn't go to the Clans, they had far too many rules, one of which was no belts, earrings etc., she was sure. She also couldn't go to the rogues, they were always fighting and whatnot. She wouldn't want to be a loner, she preferred company. Although she knew she couldn't be too picky. She looked around for someone to present her offerings to. Where is everyone? she wondered, then saw a pair of glowing eyes in the shadows of the barn. She flicked a blue ear and put down her mice, stepping back respectfully. Whether this was a leader or someone at the bottom of the ladder, so to speak, she needed to show respect if she wanted any hope of being re-accepted.

From the shadows, not anywhere near the spot Blue Fire thought the feline had been, a figure stepped out. His checkered pattern made it obvious who he was related too, although his the Card Cats. He was the size of an apprentice, no longer one of the kits in the band. Half colored eyes watching her carefully, the cape on his back not moving, Taegan studied the new cat, obviously not knowing who she was.
"What are you doing here? I've never seen you before, and I have been here for moons, and seen things others don't know about." Not exactly hostile, yet not open, Tagean somehow looked down upon the older cat, his narrowed eyes portraying the distrust and hostility he felt toward the strange. Claws still sheathed, it was as though the young tom was gone, faded out of the picture, until he was suddenly in front of the other cat, examining her from there, maw drawn back slightly.
Taegan was a rther strange, sadistic cat. He could be fun loving, somewhat depressed, or hostile. It all mattered on who you were, and if he wanted to like you or not. Things didn't seem to be going well for Blue Fire...

Bonzai swiftly untangled himself from the bush he'd been sleeping in just outside and padded over. Ah, so it seemed Blue Fire had chosen to approach. About time. The Circuit cat had the alarming talent of knowing cats he never met like they were his best friend. Though he knew it to be because of serious study work of his own, others thought him a bit uncanny.
"Ah, welcome Blue Fire. About time you showed up! It's been awhile. Ignore Teagan, he's like a guard dog. Tends to bark up the wrong tree..." He whispered to the she-cat with a wink at Teagan, before turning as the bushes rustled. "Ah looks like Arist has come with news....And she's brought new trade items! Excellent!"
Aristleanna dashed over, several woven baskets dangling at her sides. Each was full of bizzare items, ranging from wrenches to diamonds. All traded for knowledge, of course. "Hello Bonzai. You'll never believe the news! Zane and Melody have had kits, all with the odd violet eyes typical of Facade's line. I personally am a bit weary for their lives, but it's of no great matter. And Renegade is found to be alive, despite seemingly dying at that battle. Odd news, isn't it? Had to trade away a precious bit of perfume for it, but ah well. Someone had to get it." Suddenly excited, she leapt up. "Oh, and I've brought something for all of you! Free of course, since you're my friends. Not free for you though Blue Fire...You've been away sometime. Come, sit, what have you seen on your travels? Oh bother, here Bonzai take these." Leanna shucked an odd copper angel at him and then a very beautiful white lark to Teagan. She purred, smiling at him. "I know you don't seem social, but I assure you the meat is fabulous. Not as good as shark and other large animals, but ah well. Those are only offered for larger information."

Zing, the dark gray cat padded over to where the group of cats were talking. He just sat next to Blue Fire as if there was no tension. "Hello again." He hissed into her ear. "Boo."
A tortiseshell she-cat leaped down from the rafters right next to Blue Fire. "Hey again!" She meowed cheerfully.
Zing just merely rolled his eyes and shook his head. He obviously thought she had been annoying for a while lately.

Blue Fire flinched as all the cats appeared. She hoped she wouldn't be surrounded so quickly. "Hey, guys," she mumbled, fighting not to shrink away. A year alone would do that to you. She dropped her mice on the ground. "I was just... seeing the world..." Blue Fire could never admit that she had been lost in twolegplace for seven months and trapped in a twoleg nest with many other cats, all mewing mournfully as they sat in their small cages for the other six. Her tail flicked, sending the little bell tied to it jingling. She bent over to adjust the belt/bracelet on her foreleg.

As the other circuits arrived, Taegan's posture became slightly less hostile, the young cat was sitting back now so he just galred at the new cat, not so much circling around and preparing to attack without a moment's notice. The prey she had brought didn't even send a message across to the stubborn tom, rather, he just saw it as something to be ignored. After all, what could it be for. The way all the cats seemed to just suddenly appear made the tom even more wary though, as he pulled his cape closer he seemed to be even less visible, casting a slightly wary glance at the newcommers. Not Aristleanna and Bonzi of course, he knew them. There was no reason to be wary of them. And Aristleanna even came bearing gifts, an even better thing for the young cat.
"How can you be so sure about that Bonzai? One day, you'll thank me for what I do." His voice was softer now, although it still had a slight edge to it as he watched the strange cat who had just walked in for no reason other then to join once more. If she had left, she should stay away, or so he thought. Voicing what he thought though really wasn't a good habit to get into.
Ears perking up as the news came in, obvious interest was in the split eyes of Taegan as he spoke to Aristleanna. "It has been a long time since a new generation of violet eyes has been seen. They will be interesting to watchto see what path they follow. As for Renegade, evil never dies.It just keeps coming back no matter how hard one tries to kill it.
Gracefully snagging the white lark with his claws, Taegan muttered a soft 'thank you.' Settling down further, he bit into the fresh creature, and found the taste to be amazing. Savoring the rich taste of it, although suprised to see it gone so soon, it seemed he would have to make another trip. He needed to pick up something anyways.
