So, a couple weeks back, we noticed strange leaks around our fridge, after pulling it out, we saw that the water [built in filter system] hose had pulled of slightly, and that it had crept under the floor, making marge bubbles in the sub flooring. No big deal, right? Well, we moved everything out of the way and started pulling up the floor, and encountered one layer of sub flooring, as well as the old floor. Instead of ripping out the floor, the old owner of this house apparently just covered it again. My dad ripped up part of that floor to get the water to dry [we had massive fans shipped to us], and discovered something suspicious...
Well, today, we learned that what was on the floor was indeed Espestic, a very dangerous type of mold that causes lung cancer if airborne. Thanks to the giant fans, it could possibly be in the air right now. We don't know right now, and we won't until the guys come back to test the air, but needless to say, we are already talking about going to a hotel. Which is not going to be a small feat, having to kennel two dogs, take 3 cats with us, as well as two rats + food and stuff. And I'm really depressed about this whole thing.
I have no clue if I'll be gone, or for how long for that matter. I am going to take the laptop with me though, so hopefully I'll be able to get online with the Ethernet connection. I can't promise anything though. =/ So, if you don't see me around for a couple weeks, you'll know why. This just sucks so much right now.
But yeah. If my cats are needed, the managers can play them if they wish. =sigh=
