Nightspectrums sleek black body silently glided through the thick wood with total ease. Silently his glowing red eyes scanned the surrounding area. His sister Morningbreeze was close behind so he was one his best behavior. Unfortunately his brother also was not to far away, his body language shifted when he heard bushes rustle.
It was only Morningbreeze a sigh of relief washed over him. going up to her the misbehaved tom almost smiled and nudged her whispering the words "Come on, Morning. I think well find some shelter for the night." As he spoke their was a loud crash and a flash of light bursting through the sky. The rain slowly picked up.
The black cat hissed in a furious manner. His claws drawn as the rain came down a little harder every moment. "Curse your impeccable timing, sky." His back hunched in an annoyed away he padded up a hill and saw the opening he had seen from a tree from far back in the dense woods.
"The Elements have a way of turning against you." Said A mocking voice from a distance. It obviously belonged to Humbleheart.
Morning breeze quietly followed her brothers as always. Getting that unsatisfying damp feeling in her elegant pelt. Her silver eyes saddened. They were at it again. She had finally pushed Humble off of Night, from their last fight but it had given here a sore paw and a deep laceration. The kit couldn't help but limp as she followed along as always. Where could they have gone... trying to push her way through the thick under brush she finally caught sight of those bright red orbs she was looking for.
Listening intently to her bad tempered brother. Morning shook her head and limped on. Swiftly she fell into step behind him as they walked up a hill and into a cave. Going inside there he was getting comfortable. Silently she moved Little closer to her brother. It always seemed that he was the mean one, and it was true his future didn't look like he would be sunshine and rainbows, but to her he was brotherly. Sweet and gentle. Smiling She just laid their in a moment of pure bliss. Forgetting about the rain, and the loud noises, and lights that s cared her so. Her silver orbs watched as Humble came in as well. As usual the two brother started to bicker about who was sleeping where and who would be closer to her ( their disabled sister). One day the two's bickering for her safety and such would be the death of her.
------------------------
As always Humble happily pranced about even though the night sky threatened to open up and cry on top of him. Without a care in the world. He purred... slowly but surely follow his pessimistic brother, and his poor sister's scent. Gliding his way into a cave that seemed to just go on for an eternity just as the rain really started to pour. She glared at Night and whined "I want to be next to Morning tonight!"
A few nasty remarks flew between the two extremely young toms.
"Like go drown in the rain."
"Why don't you! You unbearable pestering thing."
The sounds were sure to get the attention of anyone near by... if their scents didn't give them away already.

"Why don't you both?" A voice spat out, one that was cold and mocking, before the young cat stepped forward, odd colored eyes narrowed in irritation, tail flicking ever so slightly. Black seemed to be all that made up his pelt, although upon inspection, one could find thin stripes of purple throughout the black, but one wouldn't have enough time to really get a clear description of the tom, as it was his eyes that held one into place. The color itself was light grey like the rain, but one eye was flecked with a light blue, the other ringed with an almost golden color. Tail lashing, the tom was as hot headed as his half siblings, as well as his actual siblings. He knew all about those half siblings, and it only irritated him that much more. Being as moody as he was, it just didn't seem possible that he came from the she cat Trueforge, and the gentle tom Darksun. Darksun. The roving stud who can;t stay with one. The name was a curse to him, although it wasn't shown in the camp. Of course, if there hadn't been a roving tom, he wouldn't be here, but there wouldn't be so many half siblings running around. There would actually be a family. Like this one, even though it was broken in its own way. Maybe that was though, what made Onyxpaw hate them so much at first site. They were everything he wanted, and in a way had, but nothing that he actually had managed to gain. Ignored by his siblings, he was alone in the world, and he was fighting every step down that he was forced to take. Maybe his anger really wasn't without a reason.
"In fact, you both could go drown in the rain, and I would just laugh. Only FOOLS would have come in here as you did, without noting the borders, without even ATTEMPTING to conceal your scents. Its amazing that you got this far." With a bristled pelt, Onyxpaw's tone was cold, sharp even, as he glared at the other cats, daring them to make a move. Although he was not the best fighter, he would stand his ground until they killed him, never giving up until every ounce of energy was forced from his limbs. His loyalties were to himself though, even with he being clan born. Lips drawn up in a snarl, although he was slight, the tom was a threat, and unless one stepped forward and acted...things were probably going to get bloody, and real soon. Having never broke eye contact with the unknown black cat whom seemed to be almost in charge, Onyxpaw was basically establishing his authority in a way, just as the canines do. He had learned from the coyote whom lived with MapleClan borders, he could just never recall the name of that one. Claws unsheated, ivory against the dark earth, and seeming as though the rain didn't effect him, someone was going to need to speak, and soon.
Lets just hope they don't make a mistake.
((Not the best, but I haven't played Onyx in ages. If ever...))
