Snapdragon led his kits out of the cave they were living in. For once they had opened their eyes. In Ani's case figuratively since she'd been born blind. Snapdragon looked around with his amber eyes cautiously. He didn't want anything to happen to his kits. "Okay guys, it's clear." Snapdragon whispered.
"What was that dad? Renegade is near?" Lillian Rose looked up at her father.
"He said it was clear!" Cellar growled.
"Cellar, be nice. You know Rosie can't hear." Nimrod hissed to his brother.
"Whatever, Nimrod." Cellar kicked up dust into Fallen's face.
"What the heck is wrong with you Cellar? You're such a-" Fallen stopped immedeatly as her father gave her a stern look.
"Cellar, chill. Try to be nice for your siblings. Your mother would've bothered you until you'd stop." Snapdragon hissed. "Now come on. It's a nice day out." He added. "Fallen?"
"Yeah, dad?" Fallon asked.
"I need you to keep an eye on your siblings while Cellar and I go hunting." Snapdragon meowed.
"Dad! I always guard. Why can't I go hunting with you?" Fallen complianed.
"Fallen, no it is much too dangerous. Besides, you're more responsible than Cellar." Snapdragon meowed.
"Okay. Good luck dad!" Fallen meowed.
Lillian Rose stood up. "What do you want to do guys?"
"We should visit mother!" Ani spoke up.
Nimrod nodded. "Good idea." He led his siblings over to their mothers grave.
"Hey guys, who do you think that Roserade, Crash, Blackplauge and Skuller are?" Lillian Rose mewed.
"Must be dad's realitives. Three mother's and a sibling. The stone was stained with blood. They were killed." Nimrod meowed as he saw a patch of blood red sand.
"Poppa didn't kill them, he liked uncle Crash. He said, 'Mother, what have you done? Why did you kill your friends?' Wait, then did he kill Roserade?" Lillian Rose mewed.
"No. He'd never kill." Nimrod licked his sister's ear.

"And that, is exactly where you are wrong." A voice spoke out in a tone that was like quicksilver, stunning, and seeming to be compelling you to do something, but yet, at the same time, edged with something wild, dangerous, and exciting. Lillian Rose had been more correct then they had thought; although it was not Renegade himself whom had overheard the conversation. As a pair of mercury eyes flashed through in the darkness, it was evident that the cat whom had spoke, did have a kinship with the twisted tom. She was a kit of Renegade and Mouse, and ever since she had lost Mouse, Lazuli had taken to the darker side of her parents, just like most of her siblings had chosen to as well. And now, she was going to have the immense pleasure of shattering the faith of young cats, something that she hadn't had the chance to do before. It was amazing what you learned, and got to experiance at that, when you had learned from the best. Grinning a faint smile, the unseen she cat stepped from where she had been hiding in the shadows to reveal herself, knowing that they wouldn't believe her unless they actually saw her. And even then, maybe not.
"Your 'Father' as you call him as killed, at least once before. Maybe more, but I can't go into that. However, I do have the facts that he has refused to share with you." The she cat, Lazuli, was a good looking she cat, that was for sure. Her head, shoulders, and a little bit beyond, was a blue color, white being the base color, and she had blue cirlces on her back in a random order. Gazing down at the bunch, Lazuli, although appearing softer on the outside, inside, was grinning with malice. She had the typical poison claws of her family, and not even the adult would be her when it came to a fight. All it took was a small scratch, and then the world would end. However, with any luck, it wouldn't come out to that. A blood shed, no matter how fun it would be, had not been the reason for her apperance. And now.. It was time to go and shatter some worlds. Mercury eyes growing narrowed slightly, Lazuli stared down the kits, before moving swiftly so she was in the mist of them.
"You may have heard to the tom Anikan, and how he had died. Well, the killer of that tom, you'll never guess who. Oh, you got it in one, thats right. Snapdragon killed him." Grinning a slightly fanged grin, Lazuli was suddenly perched back ontop of her rock, settling into a crouch. She was protected on all sides, there was no way anyone could sneak up on her. "And why do you think he prefers you, Fallen? Do you actually believe him when he leaves you here, with only a few meager reasons? How come all your siblings always get to go out, when you are always stuck on guard duty?" Without giving anyone time to answer, Lazuli answered her own question, although she had already known the answer. Her tone throughout everything had remained cool and collected though, enough to make anyone wonder about her words. "I'll tell you. Its because you resemble your mother so much. He already killed her; he doesn't want you to be killed either. After all, if he hadn't mated with her, Fallon would still be alive, now wouldn't she? But, just like everyone else he thought he had, she was killed as well. And yet, he never tells you that many stories, does he? Why don't you just demand the truth for once?'
Suddenly, Lazuli seemed to grow slightly curious, her voice reaching deeper depths, as she spoke a single question, one she knew that would get the most reaction from the kits. After all, it did to everyone. Having spoken loud enough so that the almost deaf kit could hear here, yet quiet enough so that the sound of her voice didn't travel, Lazuli met the gaze of everyone there. "That is, unless your afraid fo what you'll find."

"There's a potato mine? What's a potato?" Lillian Rose asked.
Ani rolled her eyes. "He didn't kill Fallon. Dad's doing Ma a favor by taking care of us."
"Careful, Ani." Nimrod whispered into Ani's ear.
Ani looked at her family, then turned her head towards Lazuli. "Why should I believe you? It sounds like we're scared."
Lillian Rose looked up. "I'm scared." She mewed as she crouched closer to Fallen.
Ani glanced at Lillian Rose. "It's okay Rosie no one can hurt you." Ani turned her head back to Lazuli. "And why should you talk down to us? We may be kits but our lineage could never be finer. And we heard of Anikan, in fact, he is our kin." Ani hissed while bristling.
Lillian Rose seemed a little braver now. "Yeah! He's our great-uncle!"
"Lilly!" Nimrod hissed.
"Wait, so I resemble my mother?" Fallen asked with her glowing green eyes staring up at Lazuli.
Nimrod just rolled his eyes. Dang it Lilly! Now look what you've done! You just turned us over! He wanted to say, but he figured that'd be too harsh on her. "Roserade's other kits have the father of the name, Renegade."
"Where?!" Lillian Rose hid behind Fallen. "Meep."

A dark grin flickered across the features of Lazuli, as she turned her piercing gaze onto Nimrod. "Funny, when I lived with him, he never mentioned them." Staring down the tom, Lazuli seemed to have an air of power around her, one that wasn't seen in many cats. Suddenly, she gave a laugh. "And are you foolish enough to think those are the only kits of Renegade? I am a direct descendant of the great tom. I have lived, breathed, and trained under him. You may have good lineage, but you do not have the blood of Facade and Masquerade running through your blood, something that Renegade's line shares with Zane's. At least, not in full like I." Grinning once more at Nimrod, it was evident how much amusement the blue and white she cat was getting from this. Her manner wasn't exactly hostile toward them yet, but from just the way she moved; it would have been more assuring if she had been bristling and snarling. There was something... mysterious... about the way she acted, as though she might have better things to do, but yet, at the same time, as if she might kill you on the spot.
"Do you not believe in change? That when the moon comes out, the sun will follow eventually? When you are of the shadows, you hear and see more then when in the daylight. Believe whatever you wish, but just know, there is always someone watching." Eyes watching Ani for a moment, although it was evident that her senses were tuned onto the other kits as well, Lazuli nodded. "I figured as much. After all, your name is Ani, does not the name Anikan sound a bit familiar, at least, with the first part? Just as Fallen was named after Fallon, you are named after your great - uncle." Mercury eyes glowing, Lazuli turned toward Fallen, another grin slightly on her features. "Yes, you do. I've met Fallon, and I must say, you look like her a lot. Which is, like I previously stated, why Snapdragon is so protective of you, as you are a clear resemblence to the one he lost. Unless you break away, you'll never be able to be as free as your other siblings, at least, not under his gaze."
Turning, she stared back at Ani, this time the smile a bit mocking. "Do not lie to her. This world is not as safe as you make it out to be. Anyone could hurt her. I could move faster then you could catch me, and with a single claw, end her life as she knows it. However, I'm in a good mood, so I won't. I wouldn't push it though, unless you want to loose your family." Her voice was not one of a threat; it was one of a promise. However, it was time to go, she had dallied long enough here, she had to get back on her quest for her father, less she wanted to be punished. Standing up, she offered a fanged smile to the kits, departing, but not without saying a good - bye, in a way.
"Think over my words, I hear your father coming. You may find out that the truth hurts, but what will you do about it? Your too kind to try to break away." A sharp laugh, and suddenly, Lazuli was gone, nothing more then a shadow, although her words were probably going to leave more then a few thoughts in the minds of the kits.

Lillian was very confused. "Wha?"
Nimrod put a paw to his face. "Oh my gosh."
Ani was annoyed and angry. Something wasn't fitting right.
Fallen was merely intrigued by what Lazuli said that she wasn't hearing what most of her family said.
Snapdragon and Cellar trotted towards them. "Everything okay guys?" He asked looking at the kits. Ani was angry looking, Nimrod looked frustrated, Fallen looked intregued by something and for some reason, Lillian Rose was confused.
"Yeah, fine." Fallen meowed.
