Covepaw had just about had it with warriors marching on over to her to inquire how a cat from MapleClan had come to be medicine cat apprentice. Covepaw had just about had it with kits complaining about biting their tongue. Covepaw had just about had it with trying to find yarrow, as it appeared to be missing. Covepaw had just about had it with alot of things, from finding herbs to- Oh where the blazes is Fogberry when I need her? I still haven't figured out where all the herbs are in this place! Mouse-dung.
The apprentice gave an inward groan and proceeded to openly stalking several required ingredients. She poked her nose gingerly next to a rock, inhaling at staring at a rather wiry plant with a bit of distaste. Despite the fact she was a bit reckless for the job of Medicine Cat apprentice, Covepaw was always up for something new. What better way to be different than to be one? And it was in fact, quite rewarding. If only Badgerpaw and Gyrpaw could see me now...They'd sure get their whiskers in a knot!
She purred in amusement, snatching up the Horsetail in her jaws and sniffing out one of the PewterClanners nearby.
"Oi! Help me with these!"
She yelled to anyone who would listen, brown paws scrabbling at the mud as she uncovered her previously found herbs and attmpeted to lug them back to camp. Covepaw would never admit it, but although her job was rather respected, she got pretty lonely. It was a bit friendless at times. She'd even find herself talking to herbs.
She thought she was going crazy.
Eh, I'm long gone.

Skypaw was Stalking a mouse when all of a sudden she hears a voice. She grumbles and leaves the long gone mouse. She runs towards the voice and sees a cat. This has got to be one of the new cats from Mapleclan.
"Hi ya, You need some help with those?"
She points to the herbs in the mud. Yup, definety A mapleclan kiity but now a pewterclan kitty. Skypaw smiledat Covepaw.
"Oh and my name is Skypaw."

Covepaw watched as the apprentice padded over, and smiled at her brightly. "Thanks! This would all be a bit easier if my jaw weren't so small."
Thinking about it, she licked her bottom lip disdainfully, but began smiling again. "It's lovely to meet you. I'm Covepaw. I guess...Well I should let you know I didn't choose to come along just because Talonstar's my dad. I came because of the adventure. Do you ever get that craze for it?"
Covepaw tilted her head to the side quizzically, grabbing the mallow and pushing it to the back of her mouth so she could still talk. Unlike most other bitter herbs, she strangely liked the taste of mallow on her tongue. Sometimes she wanted to just eat it for fun, but who knew the disasterous effects of that decision?

"I'm assuming that was whay happened to your brothers; one recived the craze for adventure, and then the other followed as well. At least, thats what I can observe from your parents, Covepaw." She shouldn't have been outside of the camp, but with all the commotion that had occured, not to mention the fact she could be an apprentice, led others to somewhat forget about her. A rather dangerous mistake, as Adderkit was not one who should be forgotten; less your darkest secrets become your worst nightmare, for they would be so easily spilled to other ears. Adderkit had never been the same as her siblings had been, not after she had come back from the canyon, after living with Renegade, training under him. She hadn't been there for very long, but the black and gold she cat was a fast learner, and even now, as her cold, pale blue eyes flickered onto Skypaw and Covepaw. Her training had been brutal and intense, yet now, there were very few who could overpower the slim she cat. Knowing how to kill with only one strike, or how to grant one a slow and painful death through poison, it was all so simple now.
But what was to be noted, although it was something none knew about, was her sly nature. Adder had been her rogue name, and it had suited her. She could be charming, relaxed, and almost normal, or she could be lost, confused, dark even, but most of the time, her emotions that one thought to be so real, was all a lie. Right now, she was content in the tree she had sprawled out in, but her temper could flare in moments, and control, well, it had never really been her thing. However, this was amusing to her, the cats from MapleClan were fascinating really, so maybe some interaction really wouldn't be too horrible.
"Allow me to introduce myself; I am Adderkit, or simply Adder, for I feel that the endings of our names only limit us to a certain age group, or level, not to who we really are." Smiling ever so slightly, Adderkit turned her gaze down at Skypaw and Covepaw, watching with a somewhat bored expression. Coming back here had been hard enough; keeping up the kit impression would be asking too much. Anyway, she was suppose to be changed; what if that change was just making her a bit colder then the rest of her family? Although Havoccrypt and Depthvision were well known, and Havoccrypt was also known for his explosive temper, she could always be the odd one. It was suiting, really.

She hadn't known but he had followed her. Always, always in the shadows. Always, always his fathers son, without him knowing. His eyes betrayed it all, the legends whispering past his face from the clan he hadn't even planned to join. The mother who had died for him. Ragekit was behind Adder, until his presence was made known by scrapping feet against rock.
"It is dangerous of you to come here. We little kits ought to be in the nursery."
Ragekit was acting. He always had to act, in fear, for he knew what would be done to him if only his father found out he was not following in his pawsteps. Heirs of the Hierarchy were never to disobey, and it was with disdain he was forced to remain in the clan. He was watching Adderkit intently. She, who knew Renegade's secrets. Never all of them, so be it, but she who was so close to his father. Enough to pose a threat in inheriting the throne when everything fell down again. As usual, Rage held his secrets behind an alibi, supressing the sneer that was borne onto his face. He was always so confused by everything. Was this life for him?
Covepaw watched the exchange with a bit of a weary expression. "Hello, Adder. I won't let them catch you two. I'll just say I asked you to help...gather herbs." She smiled easily, knowing that as a medicine cat kits were supposed to be under her protection. Judging by their mouths though, they didn't really need it. Besides, she remembered what it was like to always want to escape the clans. Find a little adventure.

Skypaw noded as she watched the kits. She picked up some herbs and smiled. "I know what it feels like for adventure. When I was a kit and there was this battle with rouges... I attempted to fight." She shruged her shoulders. "It didn't go so well."

Although Rage's appearance suprised her, not that it showed, in truth, Adder wasn't too shocked over the fact that he had appeared. The two were constantly watching each other from the shadows, each acting out their own stories. They weren't all too different, in truth, but their minds had been warped by Renegade, so they didn't see what was right in front of them. Adder mainly watched Rage because of his heritage; one related to the silver one must meet him occasionally, right? Watching everyone was a hard task, and it often left her drained, the only emotions showing were those that were forced. Every half moon she was out in the canyons, where she could finally be able too stop all the false words.
"Ah, Rage. What brings you out here? As you said, it happens to be a bit 'dangerous' for kits." At that, Adder gave a soft laugh, before sighing slightly. Shaking her head ever so slightly, she turned her gaze away from Rage, and back toward Covepaw, offering a slight smile.
"Ah, thank you. It is easy enough to get in and out of camp, but it is always nice to have an alibi." Looking as though she was quite relaxed in the tree; just another act, Adder turned her gaze back down toward Skypaw, still wearing a faint, almost ghostly, smile. "Rogues. They are very powerful when banded, but alone are nothing but a common warrior, minus the code. However, a leader is not easily gained, for they must prove themselves, and live long enough to be able to lead."
Breaking off in her musings, Adder shrugged slightly, as though that was something that everyone knew about. Just another thing she had noticed, in her brief time. It was almost a half moon, she had a lot to tell Renegade. She had only been at one other meeting, to work out the schedule, and things hadn't been so good there. She refused to fail though. If anything, she would find something.
If those two though, Covepaw's brothers, ever came back... Well, maybe she would take them to meet Renegade. They had a thing for adventure, it wouldn't be too hard. Maybe.
