Lanturnkey was in the nursery, groaning in pain. Two things were different between she and most queens. A, she did not have a medicine cat to give her herbs, and B she did not have a clan mate, therefore Stefan was not here to see his kits. Although, the two didn't share what you call 'Love' these days, but then again, who was she to judge?
Lanturnkey pushed once, as Nimblestar watched on, a bit worried. Yet again, the clan went medicine catless. He recalled enough from the loners he had battled with, pushing poppyseeds and what remained of the thyme leaves in her direction. It was all he could do to numb the pain and calm the queen down. The whole while, he motioned to Opalshine what she should be doing as best he could.
"When you are the medicine cat, you will go to PewterClan and request a bit of teaching from their medicince cat, Fogberry. If possible, she will lend us her apprentice Aloeblossom to finish your teaching."
He continued to bustle around Lanturnkey, thankful now more than ever for the knowledge he held about herbs.
Lanturnkey shoved, groaning yet again, and before anyone could say "Surprise" three small bundles were suckling at her side. She gently bent her head down to them, murmuring with a tired smile.
"Strikekit, Shackledkit, and Drivekit."
She licked them fondly, befroe promptly falling asleep.
