It seemed that they had just gone to sleep, the tired parents of Bloodkit and Palekit. Suddenly, with a loud crash, it was obvious the two were up once more. With a sign, Cheetahclaw got up to watch the kits, absently pondering their strange eyes. They were all one color really, Plaekit had white eyes, Bloodkit had black eyes. It was very strange, and caused a general bit of worry in the new father. But, he had to hold onto his hope that they would be alright when they got older. But now, as he watched the two play, he could only smile at their innocence of youth.

The black tom seemed to want to do something, as he charged at the adults, leaping at them with flying claws, only to miss as they playfully ducked away from him. Little did they know what it only made him more angry when they did, he wanted to get them, to show they how powerful he was. But no, they just wouldn't let him. Stalking off to lay in the shadows, and there for seeming to just be wiped off the earth, Bloodkit sulked the morning away, glaring at anyone who passed. He was often moody like this, and there was only one cat who could draw him back out into the world...
His sister Palekit.

Mysticharmoney watched as well. Bloodkit was a bit... temperamental. It was probably a good thing Palekit was around. The two leveled each other out. Palekit was extremely hyper, her energy was ten-fold that of many kits. Bloodkit seemed to help her be a bit calmer. And Palekit often got Bloodkit to relax, if even just slightly, when he was upset. Really, the two were a good pair. She didn't dwell too much on the eye color of her kits. They both seemed to see perfectly fine, and even if the colors were very strange, there were a lot of strange eye colors these days.
Palekit had been chasing a butterfly. Of course, when she caught sight of her brother, she trotted on up to him and layed beside him. She enjoyed the sunlight, and rolled onto her back. She looked a bit silly, but of course didn't mind. What kit would? "Hi, Bloodkit," she squeaked in her high-pitched mew. "Whassamatter?" She batted playfully at his ear with her front left paw, then licked the fur where she'd messed it up, making it lie flat again.

Black eyes focusing on his blinding colored sister, it was obvious the bood which Bloodkit had entered was going to be stronger then the average mood swings he had been through for the past weeks or so since he had been born. "Just the warriors, thinking I can't do anything seriously because I am a kit. Thinking they are so much better then I, all high and mighty, just because they have training!" Stalking forward, he had long gotten up from the shadows, a dangerous look had come into Bloodkit's eyes, his black red pelt gleaming as he moved swiftly, tearing up the dirst with his sharp claws.
"What makes them so better? Why do they think they can act so much better then us?" A low growl ripped from the young tom as he paced back and forth, basically creating a small trench from all the pacing.

White bore into black as Palekit processed just what Bloodkit had said, thinking it over. She understood perfectly, but it helped come up with a way to calm him down, if only slightly. She didn't speak for a long time. She only stared at him, relaxed. Then, she reassuring nuzzled her face into his neck. She pulled back, smiling.
"Who cares what they think, Bloodkit? Besides, you don't need to prove anything to them. You know that you're good enough for a fight." The she-kit looked at her brother almost admiringly. He really was a much better fighter than her, she'd learned that quickly. He always beat her in the play-fights. She knew he'd be an excellent apprentice. She got a little closer to him, laying her head against his, mixing white with black. "You have plenty of time to show that you're just as good," she promised him. "It's just because you're little. Maybe they only think you're playing. Not all the warriors are bad and think they're better than us. Lots of them are nice, but just think we're messing around if we try to fight," Palekit reasoned.
