Ever since Mysticharmony's first encounter with Cheetahclaw, she had expected something would come of them being together, and she was correct. The black and white she-cat had just given birth to their kits. Two, one white and one black. Their eyes were, of course, not opened quite yet, so it would be a while before she knew what their eyes looked like. The new queen groomed the kits' fur as she thought on names.

Pure joy was evident in the multi-colored tabby's eyes as he stepped into the nursery, avoiding an exiting Twoeye, who was still obviously excited about reciving her Medicine Cat name. The good natured tom had always felt that Mysticharmony was different from the rest, the two had basically grown up togethor, and now, as he fondly gazed down at their cats, a bloom of warmth seemed to suddenly rise up in the young tom. His blue eyes were fond, as Cheetahclaw went to gently nuzzle his mate, all the time thinking of names for these two kits who were kin to him now.
"They are lovely." Similing slightly, obviously happy with everything that had been going on in his life so far, the young warrior turned to look at his kits, a thoughtful look just visible in his often unreadable eyes. Mysticharmony had done enough work bringing these two into the world, it was the least he could do to come up with their names. After all, a faint inkling had come to mind for what he wanted to call them.
Looking at his son, who had a red sheen to the otherwise pure black pelt, Cheetahclaw decided to name these kits on their apperance, something simple, but not always done these days, with the arrival of so many other kits in the nursery. "This tom will be known as Bloodkit." He murmered softly, making sure he wasn't going to wake any of the sleeping felines. Looking at his daughter, this one the exact opposite of her brother, a single word came to mind as he gazed at that pure pelt. It was as though while this kit was pure, the other was dark, although there was no way that could be possible. After all, kits were shaped by the present, not what others thought they would be like. "Palekit." Nodding at his choice, Cheetahclaw grinned at his mate, obviously glad with the world right now.
If only he knew what was to come...

((Cloud's reply.))
Bloodkit and Palekit. Very accurate names. They suited the kits well. Mysticharmoney, too, was glad that she and Cheetahclaw had come so far. Smiling blissfully up at her mate, she nuzzled her kits and wrapped her tail around them. "Clever names," she stated simply, but happily.
