((Yes, PewterClan does have these often. I just figured it was time. As well this will be a hectic post, since Goldstar will announce his leave to find Rocktail.))
Goldstar's eye were abnormally dark as he leapt onto the log, despite the fact he was about to help PewterClan very much. New warriors and apprentices were always needed, but too much bad news had driven him dismal indeed. Looking down at them, the golden tom began to speak.
"I speak tonight of two very serious matters. One good, and one not so good. I begin with the good. It is time we had another ceremony. Thriftpaw, Treepaw, Morningpaw, Alabasterpaw, Loganpaw, Dandelionpaw, and Pouncepaw are ready to become warriors. There names will now be Thriftnight, Treefall, Morningsun, Alabasterfur, Dandelionwish,Loganberry, and Pounceflight."
Goldstar glanced down upon the punnished apprentice, dipping his head a bit.
"As well, despite the rough patches, I have decided to grant Destiniespaw her warrior name. She will be Destiniescross. Our kits are not yet ready to be apprenticed, and they will wait until next ceremony."
Slightly saddened, Goldstar knew PewterClan currently had no apprentices. But this would change with the growth of his daughters kits. Of course, Havoc's bloodline would make them difficult to mentor, but likely wonderful warriors in the end. He smirked a bit.
"Now for the bad news. As you've noticed, Rocktail has gone missing. I have recieved word from StarClan about his actions, and though I cannot explain further, I will say that I must go after him. I do not know how long I will be away, but during my absence I expect Nudgewing to be in charge. If..."
Goldstar choked a bit, fear brimming his normally brave golden eyes.
"If I do not return by the end of the new moon, Nudgewing will take my place as the leader of PewterClan. If any warriors wish to come with me, they are welcome and I will inform them of what the journey entails. I set out at dawn."

Eaglewing didn't do much to show his surprise that Goldstar himself was off to find Rocktail, besides the twitching of an ear. Since coming back from living as a lone rogue, keeping his emotion in check was something that had become a habit. It wasn't exactly smart to let your foes know what you're thinking, after all. The wiry tom sat patiently as the Pewterclan leader finished his announcement, golden gaze flickering to Nudgewing, who looked like she was trying to put on a brave and confident face. He knew the deputy well enough; she was his best friend's happy-go-lucky daughter. Eaglewing watched as the petite white she-cat fidgeted on her stepping stone, pelt bristling slightly with unease. To the untrained eye, these little movements were probably not too noticeable. Nudgewing was a capable cat, though her self-esteem was not as high as it could be. Hopefully that wouldn't bring down her potential too much.
As soon as Goldstar finished, Eaglewing got to his paws padding towards the leader, his tail brushing the tom's flank reassuringly. "If you don't mind, I'd like to join you, Goldstar." Though the gray tom was not sure of why Rocktail had disappeared, and what Starclan had said to Goldstar, he would be there every pawstep of the way. He owed both the clan and Goldstar that much. They'd let him back in the clan of his birth, even after he left on his own accord.

Goldstar dipped his head to Eaglewing, painful eyes looking slightly haunted as he glanced off in the direction of his den.
"Very well. Speak with me in my den."
Once the tom was certain the others had gone and done what they normally did on a quiet evening, Goldstar motioned towards his den and stood stock still, only half of his body showing in the dying sunlight that settle to dusk beyond.
"I have recieved a dream from StarClan. As it appears, Renegade is still alive. However Rocktail has run off for him, the false notion placed into his head that he can change the silver toms evil ways. This is a lie, and StarClan has opened me up to that much. Renegade will tear Rocktail to peices, even in his currently injured state. I know enough of the rogue tom to know that wherever he is and whatever he is doing, he'd not send someone for his first born son unless he was ready for a fight. Rocktail does not know what is awaiting him, but thinks it his destiny to fix his father. If I do not go after him, he will die."
Goldstar sinister words did not sound as niave as they might to some ears. Why would a clan leader risk his own life for one warrior, after all?
"It is my duty to protect my clan, and I've got the lives to spare for my warrior. As well, this outward threat to Rocktail is not just a threat towards our warrior, it is a threat towards our clan. If Renegade is willing to sacrifice his patience for one warrior, he could be even more deadly than before for all of our warriors. I will not stand by knowing that the Silver One can return to drive us away again. Even if this means my destruction, I cannot let this go with the knowledge that I've broken my duty as PewterClan's leader."
Again his eyes filled with fear, and he looked to the floor once before back towards Eaglewing.
"I had not planned on bringing anyone down with me. You do not have to go as my wingman, Eaglewing. You have a wonderful clan that loves and adores you, and you have the choice to make yourself if you risk losing them. The only reason I offer others to go with me is that I do not know what state Rocktail will be in when I find him. His alliances may have even switched, much as I don't believe it. If this does happen, someone will need to take them out. If I go alone, I risk the chance that during the process of losing a life, Renegade and Rocktail will rip my body so I cannot return. Other warriors may be able to prevent this from happening. But I will not bring the ultimate demise of my clan, and so I offer them a choice."
A deep gulp, and Goldstar sent out one small shiver. He hated to admit how deeply he fear Renegade. Not for his power, no, but for his knowledge. The Silver One knew far more about StarClan and SunClan than even the clans, mainly due to his insane grandfather Crossbone who had taught him much in the ways of secrets.

"Rocktail will know me. I know his intentions, and they are not exactly as you think. However, they shall remain with me, until the time is right to make them known." The voice was one rarely heard, the tone soft, yet somehow manipulative. The younger warrior had heard the whole speech from Goldstar, having hid in the shadows as usual, unnoticed by all. Of rogue descent, there was a certain darkness evident in the deep grey tom, from his emotionless eyes, to the very way he carried himself. He had been raised in the clan, but the pull of his other genetics, of his father, was strong then the good of his mother. Maybe though, in this case, that could work out for the small group that was slowly assembling itself to go and find Rocktail.
To Deathfire, it seemed as though the leader of PewterClan was insane, this was only one warrior after all, why bother going after him, especially from an old enemy that had already driven out Goldstar once more? Choosing the silent route though, this was the chance Deathfire had always been wanting. His chance to explore the rogue canyons, and see what life was like there, and maybe take up a residence..
"I'll be accompaning you as well, Goldstar. If there is another who can blend in with the rogues, it would be me. It is a choice I make freely, and not one you can pressure me out of. Besides, what do I have to leave behind, should I leave?"
A sharp, bitter laugh came from the warrior, although his dark eyes were still blank, unemotional. It was a bit disturbing, actually...

Eaglewing nodded solemnly, taking in all of Goldstar's words, feeling the trace of fear and worry that was ever so slightly coming from the leader. It was true. Renegade was a formidable opponent, even if he was badly injured by the other rogue, Zane, at the last battle. No doubt a single tom, such as Rocktail perhaps, could come out healthly and well. He'd lived there, after all. It was hard. There weren't many cats who could go in and come back completely unaffected.

Besides, what do I have to leave behind, should I leave?" Eaglewing's ears swiveled in Deathfire's direction, and the older warrior nodded his head in acknowledgement. Since the disappearance of his mate and kits, he didn't have as many cats to stay for as most. It would be unfair, for those who have so many others to live for, to lose their lives. "Well said, Deathfire." The wiry tom meowed, his golden eyes half closed, thinking things over carefully. Eaglewing, even though he hadn't been much of a socialite down in the canyons, by returning, there was always the chance of encountering the very few whom he'd conversed with. But if they did...he'd just have to silence them, so that they could spare Goldstar the least of trouble as possible.

There had been one pair of ears that had been listening when they shouldn't have been. After following Goldstar from the ceremony, which she wasn't suppose to be at anyway, the young cat had snuck into his den, unseen and masked by the ash she had found around camp, pelt blending in perfectly with the surrounding walls. After hearing everything, she had almost come forward, but the arrival of Deathfire had made her freeze slightly, her pale blue green eyes widen with some alarm, fearing her hiding place would be found. With the luck of StarClan though, he had walked right past it, letting the young cat breath a faint sigh of relief. Now, as everyone was, well, not really relaxed, but not so jumpy after having heard both Goldstar's long speech, and Deathfire's short one, it was nearly time to make her appearance. None of her parents knew she was here, although with her father, he probably would have just laughed. Temperamental, impulsive, but also a bit of a thinker, this young gold and black she cat was anything but the normal in PewterClan. Alongside her siblings, she would probably drive Goldstar insane, if he stayed around that long anyway.
Shaking the ashes off of her pelt, it seemed as though young Adderkit, daughter of Havoccrypt and Depthvision, had suddenly just appeared behind Goldstar, her pale eyes burning with a fire, and stubbornness that was trademark of her lineage. Drawing herself up to her full height, looking all of the other, older cats square in the eye without any hesitation that another could would have had, Adderkit spoke quickly, and strongly. "Your foolish at times Goldstar! Why risk your life, and those around you for one lone warrior?! You have a life here, where your needed, and guess what happens if you don't come back? My family, your daughter, my siblings, we'll all be without you! You know what type of pain that would cause us! My parents both know about the pain of loss, and guess what?! Whats NOT something I want to learn at such a young age. If your going to be all self sacrificing, at least think of what your going to be leaving behind! Do you honestly think that Rocktail is better then your family?! Because if you do, well, that really hurts everyone around here." Her tone was fire filled, challenging, and also one of at least partial truth. With her pale colored eyes still blazing with fire, golden and black face livid vivid with raw emotion, Adderkit seemed on the verge of throwing herself at Goldstar in a frenzy, ripping at his pelt and trying to teach him what he had to loose if he left. How could he do that to his new family?! Did he hate them so much that he would die for one warrior, and make the others wish as though they themselves were dead as well?! Here hung a precious thread, and the decision would shape a lot of things in the young Adderkit's life. It was a hard weight for Goldstar to carry probably, but it was obvious that she didn't care what happened to the other two cats in the den.
<b>"Choose your path Goldstar, and know that I may be following you, if you see me or not. Remember I snuck into here without any of you knowing about it, so don't think I couldn't do it."</b> Although her tone was calmer, it still carried a razor's edge to it, both a threat and a promise.
One could only wonder how much trouble she was going to be in. Already she had been driving the apprentices and warriors insane, and now it seemed she had challenged Goldstar to what he was doing.
Just like her parents. They would both be so proud, even if they didn't show it...
((Haha. Poor Goldstar. He's going to have a fun time with her.))
