"Do you love him?"
These simple words stung the air. It was as if a thick fog had covered the two sisters. The two sat near the border, both of their orbs staring off into the abyss. The silence seemed deafening. It was as if the world knew they were having a private conversation. No leaves rustled, no birds sang. It was Spring, but it felt as if it were the worse of winter. The air was cool and crisp. The land seemed dead. It portreyed the mood.
"Do you love him?" Forestsoul asked again. She turned her gaze to look at her sister. The dark gray she-cat cared for her sister, and only wanted what was best for her. "You know he doesn't feel the same way. Why are you still here?" She spoke again. She didn't mean them to be harsh. Her round eyes took in everything. Her sister was broken, and it hurt Forestsoul. She hated seeing someone she cared about in so much pain. She didn't know what her sister was going through. She never loved. She could only guess.
The words stung Junglespirit. She cringed for a second. Her darker green eyes met her sisters. "There is still a chance." She retaliated. She swung her head back to stare off into space. Everyone knew she came back for him. It was obvious. Her heart raced as she remembered everything about him. A smile crossed her features. Junglespirit loved Riverwing. She loved everything about the tom. She let out a sigh. "He will never be mine, but as long as I stay here I can still be around him." She nodded, as if proving it to herself. She wanted nothing more then to just be around him. That feeling of pure joy crashed over her when he was near. Her heart raced, and her pulse quickened. It was almost pure bliss...
