A lone silvery colored she wolf walked the lands, reading each scent as she wandered about. Life had hit a slow spot for her, pack life bored her and everything was normal usually. That was why she chose to wander the loner lands, lands of the free. Where she could do as she pleased, and nobody could pull rank on her. The spirit ran deep in the silvery she wolf, that much was obvious. Her shoulders were forward, the sign of great strength, and her head was held high. Her deep eyes were narrowed as she drifted through the area. She had visibly already taken down a few wolves, and wouldn't allow anyone to bully her into something. A darkness curled inside of her, one that she finally was allowed the express by her obvious stance and look. There was nothing that would stop her unless she wanted it to. And that, would be rare.

The icy mountain winds ruffled the pitch black brute's coarse fur, lodging pieces of ice and snow in it. He didn't seem to be too bothered by it, however, and continued on, never missing a step. It was much more dangerous living as nomads, since they were often either alone or in pairs, and he was alert for any threats, expecting the unexpected, his navy gaze sweeping his surroundings, his ears perked despite the cold.
Behind him, an off-white she-wolf followed, her gait powerful. Even though she was following behind the brute, her rank was evident. She was no cutsie pup. No follower. The younger wolf was, in fact, the first to notice the other wolf besides the pair themselves. "Husker. Straight ahead. Don't jump to conclusions" Her voice was soft, but carrying an edge of authority to it.
Even as his sister spoke, Husker had raised his hackles, lips curling back in a snarl and he let out a low growl. The growl cut off after the white wolf finished speaking, although his posture was still offensive. "Fine. She's not too big of a threat anyways. Two on one."
"Husker."
"Alright, alright. But if she moves as much as a paw..."

Nostrils flaring, the she wolf caught scent before the voices floated to her sensitive hearing. Using those senses alone, ears pivoting slightly to make a location to the strange voices. Male and female. That was all she could pick up from their scent as it frifted towards her. Spinning ever so slightly, the first shape she picked up was the onyx brute who had made the threat in the first place. The voice had already told her his name was Husker, but the off white female who stood beside him was still a nameless face to her. A second scent drawing showed a similiarity in scent. Not by much but it was still there. Focusing her eyes on the male and female, she watched them cautiously.
There wasn't fear in her gaze, but a healthly respect that one would show for another. If you showed fear, death would only be a blessing to you, she knew. There was no other way to save yourself rather then act as you normally would. Inspecting the two, the silvery female offered no words, only a gaze. She would speak when she felt as though she was needed to. No need to be foolish.

The female nodded, stormy gray eyes pretty, but intimidating. They were the type that would make you imagine as if they were trying to figure out the best way to take you down in a fight. Unlike Husker's, the she-wolf' was very much neutral, and very relaxed. She'd hold her own in a fight...but now wasn't the time. "Greetings." Her words ended on a polite note, just on the perfect pitch, not too high, not too low. The off white wolf seemed to be better at handling situations than her older companion.
Husker's ears were flattened as his dark eyes watched the stranger with a fierce intensity. He was reluctant to allow his younger sister to interact with the unknown wolf. Might as well follow along...for now. "Yeah. Hi." His voice was gruff, not exactly wanting to converse all that much.

Dipping her head to both, as a sign of respect as well as a greeting, the she wolf ilently inspected the large male. He was obviously not used to being social. "Greetings." Her voice was light and airy, but there was also an egde to it that seemed odd. One wouldn't see much in her. Avergae frame, build, everything. It was always her voice that threw other wolves off. Her dark eyes watched both, and although obviously wary of them, who wouldn't with a two against one fight odds, there was nothing to indicate she was out of place here.

"We're not from around here. My name is Kyra. The wolf over there," Kyra swung her head back in Husker's direction. A faint smirk played on her lips, thinking of some other way to describe her anti-social brother, before she continued. "He's Husker. My brother. Would we have the courtesy of learning your title?"
Husker stiffened. What?! We don't even know who this wolf is! Giving the stranger a hard glare, he stifled a growl. Yes, he knew that Kyra generally knew what she was doing...but still!

Something about the dark male, Husker the female Kyra had told her, amused the silver she wolf slightly. Anti-social was obvious with his attitude, and the glare he had given her. It really didn't bother her, given the fact she didn't interact with others very often aside from times like these. It had never really been in her to try and branch out in the social network. She was happy where she was really. Dipping her head once more, the silver she wolf smiled slightly. "Pleasure Kyra, Husker." She said, nodding in each wolves's direction as she addressed them. Turning back towards Kyra, although still keep aware of Husker, she said softly; "New Moon. You can call me Moon if you wish though." Moon wasn't sure about having her title known with these two, but since they had asked and given her their titles, she would return the favor. "What brings you here then, if I may ask?" Curiousity tinged her tone as she studied the other wolves further.

Husker's eyes narrowed. "It's none of y-"
"Pleasure to be of aquaintance, Moon. We are wanderers. There has yet to be somewhere that has...satified us. Well. At least not me." Kyra smiled back, flicking an ear back. "The climate seems harsh up here, but we've heard of packs living around here. Thought that we might check them out...although there is not a very big chance we would stay. It seems that there is always something new that beckons me."
The onyx male grumbled, wrinkling his nose. Husker was the older of the two, after all. This wolf they'd just met. Kyra always thought that it was better to have another aquaintance, rather than an enemy. He thought otherwise...but his sister was just so stubborn about what she believed. Snorting, Husker turned his head a bit to survey their surroundings. He had a feeling that Kyra wasn't going anywhere until she was done talking to New Moon.

Moon nodded at Kyra. She knew what it had been like to fel out of place before she had found the North Pack.
"There are two. The North Pack is the largest, have the most land, but don't tend to be as close as the Woods Pack. They also call themselves the Mist Fit Pack, and they were the ones who broke off the North Pack because they were differant and felt unwelcomed. They are close as family, and are led by a young male. The North Pack is led by an older wolf who has been leading for a while, so if you want an experianced pack..."
She ended with a shrug. It was hard to describe the packs really. How could one explain the somewhat distance of the main pack, and then the tight bond that surrounded the Mis Fit pack? It was so much easier to see something, then hear it from someone else.

Kyra nodded, thoughtful. "Yes, I understand. The North pack is known to me. Led by the alpha called Obscuredsoul, I believe. I've seen them hunt, just on the borders of their land. Efficient, I suppose." Her own pack had been driven from where they lived, since the tall pelt-less creatures destroyed most of their land. They had been forced to flee, and they'd been separated from the rest of the pack. Husker and she had relied on one another, journeying by themselves to find somewhere to stay. Nowhere seemed right...
Curiosity made Husker's ears perk. "Different?"

Moon nodded. She knew a lot about the main pack, but not so much about the other pack. It would fit, seeing she had never gone there because her and the alpha female were kin, and they fought each other repeatedly when they had been in the same pack.
"You would think. Most hunt for themselves though." Moon stated with a shrug. It was easier to hunt for yourself, although taking down big game was fun every now and then, and provided a differant taste then the small animals a single wolf was able to catch. Turning to Husker, the silver wold nodded.
"They are led by an onyx brute called Sandstone, and heis alpha female is a red wolf called Verblassen. They broke away, to my knowlage, from Obscuredsoul's leadership because they didn't like the way the others acted, forgetting what was important in life and always after power. They also hated how distant that pack was. I hear that their pack is almost like a giant family. I've never been there really though, so I'm not sure how everything is."
