The sounds of something small and something breaking something was loud in the otherwise usually quite forest. The prey around the area was silent, all hiding from the unseen menance upon them. Little did they know it was only three kits, not really old enough to hunt them without a good streak of luck. Luck which they hadn't been having that is. Not that it dampered their spirits any though.
"Dang! Almost had it that time!" The young tom growled, watching as the sparrow fluttered away, unaware it had been aware of his presence long before he had known it was there. The deep brown red little kit puffed his pelt in frusteration, before turning his yellow eye to the rest of the group. "Dumb bird. Eyes on the back of its head." He muttered to himself, eyes narrowed even though the bird wasn't visible anymore. Defeat was not something Dragonkit took easily, much to his sister's amusment.
"Right. And hedgehogs can fly." The silvery white kit said. Her black toes oved up and down excitedly on the grass, her black tail tip twitched. Black ear tips turned forward, Frostkit snorted at her brother, obviously amused. "That bird saw you a fox tail before you even saw it." She said, shaking her head. A glint came into her eyes, and suddenly she pounced onto Dragonkit.
While the two others wrestled, Twokit shook her head. "We are never going to get something to eat with all the noise you guys are making. Don't you remember anything mom and dad taught us? We are suppose to be quiet when hunting." She said, her voice dropped down. Twokit had always been the thinker of the group, her actions more thought out then that of her brother and sister's. Her two colored eyes focused on the two other kits. They were all unaware they were in some other cat's territory.

"Hello fellow kits!" Sweetkit looked at the kits. "Are you here to join the clan?" Her dark gray pelt and green eyes looked caringly at them.

Dragonkit, who had always been the most outgoing of all the kits, bounded foreward, missed prey forgotten as he looked over the new kit. "Yes. You live there?" He said, eyes curious. He was always looking forward to new things, and meeting a new cat was even better. His deep red brown streaked pelt lay flat, and although his giant size may be appear threatning to most, Dragonkit really wasn't too hard going. His yellow eyes tracked the other cat's every movement. It was obvious he would be a great tracker when he got older. His attention was on everything at once, not a single thing escaped him.
"What my brother is trying to say in his half language, is yes. We are looking for, and we would like to join the clans." Frostkit said as she stepped forewward, white pelt gleaming. Only her black markings looked dirty, but they always did. "You live in one of them, correct?" She asked. Frostkit was a bit more hostile then her brother, and her tone showed it. Her very body posture showed it. It was in a battle-ish mode, loose and ready to fight in a heartbeat. Her ice colored gaze was on the other kit, as if it was sizing her up. She would be a great fighter when she put her mind to it.
"Dragonkit, Frostkit, behave yourself." Twokit said in an annoyed fashion, differant colored eyes narrowed slightly, before turning back to the other cat. "I'm Twokit. Thats my brother Dragonkit, and my sister Frostkit." She said, making introductions. Twokit had always been the most caring of the group, her steps were always light and nearly soundless. She was the hunter of the group. She also knew about herbs, a little bit that was. They had needed it, traveling alone the way they had before finding a clan. "Pleasure to meet you...." She trailed off.

"Yes, I am. I'm Sweetkit. Follow me." She bounded towards the camp. "C'mon!" She yowled.

The trio moved in an armed way, Dragonkit at the end as he was obviously the strongest. Frostkit was in front because she was the fastest, and Twokit in the middle because she had the most silence in her step. The camp was amazing, that was all the kits could think as they walked into it. Eyes wide, the trio sat down to wait, as they had been told.

"I'll get Silverstar. She's our leader." Sweetkit bounded to the leaders den. "Silverstar? Some newcomers would like to join your clan." She sat patiently.

Silverstar padded out of her den. "Newcomers?" she questioned, before she met the kits gaze. She let out a sympathetic purr. "Kits alone?" she questioned. She gently padded over to the four kits. "Sweetkit, thank you for bringing them in, but you do know you're not suppose to leave camp." she warned the kit. Her silvery gaze was usually playful, but held a hint of anger behind it. "Now, who might you be?" she questioned. It wasn't every day three kits wandered into camp alone.

"Sorry." Sweetkit grinned. "Next time, I'll bring a warrior with me."

Dragonkit, sensing the obvious power of the she cat in front of him, dipped his head to the elder cat. His yellow eyes were calm as he looked her in the eyes, red brown streaked pelt flat and calm. "I am Dragonkit." He said softly, letting his sisters introduce themselves. His yellowe eyes were curious, but like his siblings, he was suprisingly calm for a kit.
"Its a pleasure to meet you Silverstar. I am Frostkit" White white tipped black kti said, dippinger her head as well. Her ice colored eyes were calm as she watched. Her ears were tipped forard, an obvious sign of curiousity. Respect was there from the kits too, you couldn't hide that.
"It indeed, is a pleasure Silverstar. I am Twokit." The pure white she kit said with a soft purr, her two colored eyes very wise beyond her years. Her long pelt was smooth, and it was obvious who the leader of the group was. "Frostkit, Dragonkit, and I have been looking for the clans for a long time, after our mother's death. She was a clan cat leaving because she didn't want to disgrace the clan with a rogue, as she knew how much you disliked them. Do you know Bleedingflame?" She said. Her tone was low, respectfull, but like her siblings, held a feral, a differant edge to it.

She dipped her head. "Twokit, Frostkit, Dragonkit. It's a pleasure. You're mother was a great warrior and I'd be pleased to have the three of you in my clan." She let out a mrrow of acceptance. "You shall stay in the nursery for a few moons. There you'll get to know you're clan. After that you'll become apprentices, and then graduate to become warriors." She informed the trio. She wanted to make sure they knew what they were getting into.

The trio nodded. They knew. Burningflame had been an excellent mother to her kits befire she had died suddenly. "We understand." It was Frostkit that spoke that time, noddind her head. They would be bored in the nursery after a moon or two, however that didn't mean that they were not able to live through it. After all, they had been on their own for a while now.

"Hey guys, steer from my big sister. She's really cranky. Cloudkit! Get out here!" Sweetkit mewed. "What now? Oh! Sorry, I thought someone got stuck in a tree again." Cloudkit looked indentical to Sweetkit. Same green eyes and dark gray fur.
