MoonCave

Looming almost ominously behind the Riverhill, you see the gaping, dark mouth of the MoonCave, where not even the brightest stars can touch the initial darkness. This is where all Leaders must come to receive their nine lives from StarClan, and all Medicine Cats must come to speak to StarClan as well. That is, if one has the strength to make it through the darkness. For the first leg of the journey, the darkness seems to be pressing in on the traveler, blinding them, forcing them to rely upon their other senses. It is enough to make a cat confused rather rapidly, and to panic here, with so many drops and sudden dips in the floor, would mean death. As one progresses through the cave though, an odd occurrence starts to happen. After the halfway mark, it is almost as though every paw step in the right direction makes the darkness lighter, as a trail of stars flickers to life on the walls. With each wrong step, the stars dim slightly, almost as though another force is guiding you now that you’ve come into the light. Time is much quicker here, and before long, one comes to the almighty Star River. Silent, swift, and dark, the surface of the water is embedded with stars, though there is no opening in the tunnel as to provide where the stars came from. It is here, that cats come to speak with StarClan.
