There was a reason the tempermental black tom hadn't been to a gathering since he had first been apprenticed. There was no masking the hostility the tom felt as he glared at DuskClan and MapleClan, ears drawn back, expression of pure dislike obvious. Oh, Silverstar was dead? Too bad, they still should have been there to help, instead of stuffing themselves with the prey that had fled from both CresentClan and PewterClan territory. "He will not slip Pouncepaw. If he is to fall, it would be because I have pushed him over. One with such a smug look deserves to choke on the mouse that he stuffs his maw with." Hissing, eyes never leaving the two leaders who had been too pride filled to come and help when Renegade had attacked, and for that, they had been cast into a bad light for the young tom Havoccrypt.
Muttering darkly under his breath, Havoccrypt sat down toward the back, light green eyes narrowed angrily as Honestar began to speak, and a MapleClan(?) cat just had to sit beside the obviously angry tom. "Yeah. Whatever. Not that your clan helped or anything, so what would you know?" Tail flipping, Havoccrypt's gaze shot around the area, resting on the small group of Medicine cat apprentices. They didn't seem to be doing much; he would go sit next to them. Rising up, he moved through the thick mass of cats, and sat down next to the CresentClan apprentice, light eyes still alight with temper.

Trepaw looked around in wonder with Skypaw next to her. This was amazing. Treepaw ran over to Loganpaw and jumped up and down. "This place is awsome!" She then sat down and roled over on her back. Skypaw walked over and batted Treepaw's tail. "You have to stop acting like a kit if your an apprentice."

((Screechstar was the leader of Crescentclan before Dawnstar. She was definitely NOT a pansy xP She was Russian Blue as well, played by Marrow. Oh, and Forest, I was just following the clan guides when I put your cat up there. So, you can pick another one of your cats in Crescentclan to go instead. If you have none, then I'll just kick her off the list.))
Dawnstar glared at the Mapleclan leader with open hostility, as well as Scythestar. She wasn't as angry at the Duskclan leader, who she still thought to be the deputy by logic. Although she believed him still deputy, she had the feeling that something had happened to Silverstar. She had been deputy during the same time as the tom and had gotten to know him enough to know that he wasn't totally self-centered. Honeystar on the other hand...Dawnstar could only sneer. Not only was she the youngest leader, but she was completely into herself it seemed. She wouldn't think twice if another clan was to be destroyed, the she-cat thought with loathing. She turned away from Honeystar and turned pointedly to Goldstar. "I'm glad your clan is on your own turf again," she said calmly, though the anger, not directed at the leader, still boiled in her eyes, "We would've helped, but we were preoccupied." she delivered the line coolly, smoothing out some of the rough edges of the long story.

((Me-Oow, cat fight! XD ))
"Glad to hear it." Scythestar purred brightly to Goldstar, eyes half-lidded and large ears pricked. His head turned as Dawnstar approached, and he dipped his black head to the she-cat. "And greetings Dawnstar, I am glad to see you are alright." His pupils flicked to the side to observe Goldstar, as the tortoiseshell evenly meowed, "I am sorry we couldn't be of assistance, but you see we weren't informed you'd be invaded by Renegade. Or perhaps you'd like to keep a few DuskClan warriors with you?" He now looked straight at Goldstar, aiming this at the PewterClan leader. His tone was so polite, it easily shared attributes with hostility, as well did his grey eyes. "Of course you'll be well to tell your subordinates this." Large rosette ears had swiveled backwards, aiming towards the whispering cats behind them. "But we'll do well to kit-sit you from now on if that's what you wish." He said the last loud enough to reach the muttering cats. "Now then; I wish to speak last. Honeystar, would you be kind enough to start?" Standing up daintily; The skinniest leader hopped up on the fallen tree, scratching the bark as he twirled and sat.
"Cheese it it's the coppers!" Clopar hissed lightly from inside the log, crouching down and putting his paws over his head while Deck gave him an odd look.
"Looks like Silverstar kicked it, eh?" Meccapaw plopped down next to the other medicine apprentices, giving the regular glare at the leaders at the head of the crowd. He had attended the Gathering once before as an apprentice, but this was his debut as a Medicine Cat apprentice, and it didn't make him happy. During the recent battle he had gotten more involved than he had been instructed, and through his blue fur laid the occasional patched scratch and bite. He just couldn't resist the chance to fight, it was his nature, and after being injured and confined to the Medicine den he hadn't been in a good mood. "What'd she do, die of laziness? Uuugh, this is boring. I'm going to go see if anyone else has something interesting to say." He jumped up and stalked away into the crowd, ears swivelling to see if anyone had something good to say.
((Bad post? WHAT BAD POST?! =Whistles innocently= ))

Goldstar dipped his golden head, eyes recognizing the almost-truce withing to CrescentClan. Both clans had fought side by side in the battle against the rogues, so he had no skirmish with them. Though he was not about to jump into Dawnstar's lap or anything, he had a respect for her throughout the fight that wouldn't disappear until the next problem arose. The obvious gap between the pair and the other leaders struck notice of several, and being the cat he was, Goldstar willingly stepped closer to Scyhthestar, whom he would not withhold in saying he didn't much like at the moment. Though with Screechstar gone, the new leader couldn't afford to have poor ordeals with both Crescent and PewterClan, and the golden tom would rather not to create a problem out of the thin air. Unless Scythestar had any good reason in defense of himself this gathering, of course, he would remain cordial. Mainly owing to the fact it was in his nature, and did not want to cause trouble after it had so recently departed from the clan.
"No Dawnstar, do not worry. Your clan needed to save their own fur, with you as the next target of course. However if you had nothing better to do, I'd not excuse it as easily."
Goldstar did not hesitate a Milli-second in making that opinion known. Truth be told, he was a cat often known for being the one of peace, the one of compromise, and the one of kindness. Often thought the softie for letting cats so willingly join the clan, he did not wish to have riots or outbreaks, however he wasn't all gentle as he seemed. At first he'd be seen as kind, as under Ravenstar's rolemanship he was meant to be. Though once his kindness was not equally shown by the other leaders or warriors and his beliefs unbeknownst, he'd become the one who fought. Not thought to fight on the night of peace, he wasn't likely to do so, however if Scythestar pushed his limit, consequences could occur. PewterClan was not to be trifled with, and he was more than willing to back this up tooth and claw with every life he had.

Seekingpaw of Mapleclan walked in with the others. The amazeing world around her moveing at light speed. 'wow' she thought as she saw all the cats comeing together for a night of peace.
Everything must be right with the world she thought to herself. Yet... somehow she felt insecrue. Like as if all the cats were looking at her. If only sky were here. Sky was a loner.... but he was her best friend. One of her only real friends anyway. The clan was noce but no one had really made an effort to accept her. She sat down silently watching what was going on intently. Waiting for something to happen in the exciteing place.
She watched as cats had their spats and waited for someone to talk to her first. She was shy and down... Sky was the only thing that kept her going now.

"Only if you insist, Dear ScytheStar." HoneyStar meowed with another unreadable grin shot in the direction of the other leaders. Boy is everyone hostile tonight! I almost feel bad for GoldStar. His own fault, though. ... So I'm speaking first? Guess it's my time to prove my awesome-ness, then. You're loss, Scythe and Gold... HoneyStar stepped up to the head of the log. Her pale shape was illuminated breifly by a firefly as it passed by. It had gotten dark as the clans gathered; all of the cats gradually fell silent as they realized it was time for the gathering to begin. Saying 'let the gathering begin' was kind of unnessecary considering every cat knew it had begun. Instead of going through the pointless entrance statement, HoneyStar just began her clan's news in a loud voice. "Over the nice sized gap of time since the last gathering, my clan has made eight new warriors: BlitheLife, AlderBark, ForestWind, AutumnLeaf, EagleScreech, BearClaw, MusicNote and GrassBlade." She let the names of the warriors soak in before continuing, "We also have ten new apprentices: BumblePaw, CrashingPaw, HacklePaw, OnyxPaw, RubyPaw, VaporPaw, OwlPaw, EclipsingPaw, WaterPaw, and SeekingPaw. The queens WillowGrace and HollowHeart have both given birth to healthy litters of kits. The prey on MapleClan territory is plentyful and we've had no problems with Circuit Cats or Rogues." Finishing, she stepped back to let another leader past her.

((She's in MapleClan.))
"Oh, tush. What's done is done. By the way, I'm Softflame. And didn't Goldstar keep his clan together?" She looked at him with fierceness. "I believe he did. And don't forget I smelled a bit of DuskClan near the river. So you shouldn't be angry at DuskClan one bit." Softflame narrowed her eyes at Havoccrypt. She stood up immedeatly and sat next to a DuskClan warrior.
Loganpaw looked in confusion at Scythestar. Why should his look be so smug? Silverstar's not here and she can see him right now. She thought silently. Then Loganpaw noticed Havoccrypt's anger.

Dawnstar leaped upon the mossy logo easily with her long legs, it becoming more of a big step than anything else. Graceful as ever, yet with her movements roughed by the wariness in her eyes, she didn't sit. She looked upon the other clans with bright eyes, the turmoil in them no longer as restive. "In Crescentclan we have a strong, new deputy, Darkangel." she reported loudly, "We also have a new medicine cat apprentice, Meccapaw. The prey is running strong and although we have run into an obstacle or two in the near past, we are still just as tough as ever." She finished with almost a warning in her voice. She stepped off the log and joined the other leaders. Her serious eyes dotted around the clearing, for a moment flickering on the sight of the log that the circuit cats were hiding in. Eventually, though, she looked over them before focusing on the next leader to speak. ((Marrow, Frostwinter isn't there. I decided that she should stay in the clan to care for injured & sick. I just put her name in the first post to say that was who the med. cat was. ))

Why so serious, DawnStar? HoneyStar stifled a purr of amusement. Her bright eyes flickered to GoldStar, who was speaking next. She knew this because ScytheStar had this look in his eyes like he had to be the very last cat to speak while announcing his new leadership or else he wouldnt speak at all. Just in case GoldStar hadnt noticed ScytheStar's face, she flicked him with her tail in a non-challant way that went almost unnoticed by the other leaders. "Your turn." She mouthed silently when he glanced at her.

Goldstar's teeth clentched, the tension surrounding almost pressing into his fur. He felt the cool breeze carress his pelt, eyes softening a bit at the looks of his clan before hardening once more upon rememberence of Scythestar behind him.
"PewterClan has returned home, and prey runs well. Our clan grows stronger by the day, and I am proud to report many new warriors and apprentices. However this is not the main subject of my speaking."
The golden tom turned back, warning in his eyes to the other leaders.
"Bluntly, I am disgusted with the clans who chose not to aide PewterClan and CrescentClan in the battle with the rogues. In doing so, you have broken the word of StarClan. They always meant to be four clans in the forest, and yet you sat on your pompous tails while my clan was driven out. Do not think PewterClan will forget this the next time you cry out for help as your cats' blood falls to the ground. You denied saving the lives of my clan, and Dawnstar's though I will not speak for her, but for this I will not forgive you. Do not expect to come to me when you need. Especially now that PewterClan is strong again and well enough to fend of cats like many of you proved yourself to be. You're no better than the rogues who too turn their back on StarClan's will."
Cooling himself off, Goldstar turned back to another subject at hand.
"Now, for the good of those who deem it, I bring a stirring message from the Circuit cats. Clopar has returned to PewterClan to offer a cure for the sickness, which he says will return. I personally plan to accept his offer, and I pass it along to you to do with what you will. That is all."
He backed out, one final glare cast in the direction of Scythestar as he sat back down. One soulful glance at the stars marked his worried face. Did Ravenstar approve of his words? Such was always a troubling thought...

So much tension, yet the sky did not cloud over? Curious phenomena, Scythestar mused. He gave a full, fanged grin at Goldstar and his words. Scythestar was by nature a kind, though nervous cat, but Goldstar being openly stupid to all of the Clans was just too amusing. Giving a short cough as the PewterClan leader stepped back, he stood, his turn to address the crowd. "As you may have noticed, our leader for more seasons then you could count has passed on. DuskClan has done our honoring of her, and now we are returning to the Newleaf benefits. We have made many warriors and apprentices, and our nursery is full of kits. The bountiful prey we work to catch have blessed us even through LeafBare. "But that is our business; I shall now address what you all have on your mind. We had no knowledge of the attacks; therefore PewterClan and CrescentClan are not our responsibility." He growled shortly and watched Goldstar from the corner of his eye. He'd tolerate no more of this nonsense from the mountains' leader. "If Goldstar wishes to stir up trouble because of this, he should spend less time picking ticks out of his fur and more time dispatching cats to actually inform us the fights. You have no one to blame but yourself, unless you wish to merge all of the Clans to one camp to save your own hide? MapleClan and DuskClan have done no wrong for you not telling us of your troubles when they arrived. And if you wish to make enemies of those following the Warrior Code, so be it. You shame our past leaders with stupidity." He allowed a few seconds for the approving yowls and hisses from the crowd, then silenced them again with a flick of the tail. "And one last matter, but not for the Clans. Clopar, I know you are here as usual. You may come out, now."
"Showtime!" Clopar grinned widely from the hiding spot in the log, waving his paws as the DuskClan leader called his name. Deck nodded and pulled out a small round object from the bag she carried, lighting the string that stuck from the side with a small cubed object.
Suddenly smoke burst through the knothole in the tree trunk, making Scythestar jump sideways. It billowed then cleared, revealing Clopar who was now sitting next to the leaders. He wore a very smug expression, and sat on his hind legs, front paws crossed in a human-like pose. "Oh lawdy lawdy, your savior has arrived! Hallelujah I have arrive~d!" He threw his paws up in the air and yelled the ridiculous phrase. He chuckled and lowered his paws, looking over at the four leaders. "You guys sure are feisty, eh? Cat fight! Hahaha. Now, what do you need? I need to meet my Lawyer at twelve'." Scythestar had long since learned to just ignore the Circuit's rambling, so he just came out with it. "DuskClan has decided to take you up on your offer. We shall send a patrol to the Rogue Canyon to negotiate with them in two sunrises." "Grreeaaatt! Glad to hear it! You too right, Goldie? Hey, if you all go together I'll tag along, you know you guys are all sooo stuffy you'll need someone smooth to break the ice with them Rogues!"
(( Whoops XD I editted my post. So now Meccapaw needs to meet Havoc. ))

"So it seems. She was rather ancient though, you wouldn't beleive how many herbs she ate every morning just to get out of her den, although I don't think they did much. She tried though, and I guess that was all that counted in the end." A soft voice mumered from beside Meccapaw, the pure white pelt of the apprentice glowing in the moonlight. Her different colored eyes were focused on the log, and although she didn't flinch at the harsh words spoken, Twopaw, the DuskClan medicine cat apprentice, did think that PewterClan and CresentClan were a bit self obsorbed. Of course they had fought a battle, but how did they expect the other clans to know anything about it, when at least DuskClan had been too busy dealing with the loss of their leader Silverstar? It was like those two clans thought they owned the place, saying what should have been done and what should have happened. It wasn't like those two clans had gone totally unaided anyways, CresentClan and PewterClan had fought alongside of each other, no? "Let me know if there is anything interesting. I'm suppose to stay here it seems." With a soft sigh, and a quick glance at her mentor, Twopaw grinned slightly at Meccapaw, before turning her gaze back to the log.
>><<
Hostility may be too soft of a word, as the look from Havoccrypt darkened as both Clopar and Scythebark spoke. When Goldstar had started to speak, he had wanted to cheer, and then go and make a point to every DuskClan cat there, just because he could, well, as soon as he got a break that was. However, it seemed that nobody was backing down, and that only infuriated the hot tempered tom more then ever. Had DuskClan even bothered to listen? The screeching had been heard for miles, it would have been obvious if they had just taken a moment, But no, it seemed that they couldn't have, because they, along with MapleClan, were too caught up in life. Maybe it was a conspiracy against CresentClan and PewterClan, who knew. "Our stupidity? Well, if you had just stopped stuffing your maw with OUR prey, maybe you would have heard the screeches of battles, instead of growing fat on your perch." Hissing, just loud enough to be heard but not identified by anyone, aside from maybe one in his clan, Havoccrypt found himself nearly walking into the CresentClan medicine cat apprentice, having been too focused on insults toward the two clans who hadn't been there.
For a moment though, as the apprentice approached, probably close enough to have heard Havoccrypt's little 'thought,' his temper cooled for a moment, and a grin flickered on his maw.
"Why, it is the CresentClan medicine cat apprentice."
Light green eyes glowing slightly, Havoccrypt shook his head, obviously amused at something.
"What brings you away from the other apprentices? You know, people generally look down at me meeting innocents who haven't been corrupted by life."
Ah, so that was it. Typical of the black tom.

((Ah, Why's everyone thinking that Crescentclan has been accusing people. Dawnstar didn't say anything like that at all. By the way, Sac, it's Crescentclan, not Dawnclan xP)) Dawnstar glared at Clopar with the tempest in her eyes risen again from it's treacherous depths. It was him again. The cat had perhaps messed in the clans lives a little too much. However, Dawnstar knew that the sickness had hit Crescentclan hard. Many cats had perished in the first round of the disease, and like all experienced leaders, she knew that it would only get worse. Fighting with a terrible sense that everything would go wrong, she spoke, "Crescentclan can take of themselves perfectly!" the proud leader said hotly, her ears pressed flatly against her head. If her eyes were as sharp as her claws, they would kill. Her tail flicking from side to side in agitation. She was literally a millisecond from departing. ((No, she's not going to change her mind. ))

Softflame rolled her eyes in disgust. Puh! Clopar's getting a little too controlling is he now? Once he's dies we'll be free of him! She looked curiously at the stange colored tom.
Loganpaw jumped when Clopar came out of the log. "What in the name of StarClan?" She whispered to herself. How come she felt she liked this cat even if he was wierd? As you can see, you could see Loganpaw falling in love with the random, stange colored, odd cat. Little did she know that a circuit cat and a clan-cat from DuskClan has had kits which got mixed up. The new apprentice wanted to talk to him but couldn't.
