They watched the gathered cats belong, eyes glinting in such a way that anyone who happened to see it would just think of it as glistening snow in the branches of the circling trees. And of course, he had made it perfectly clear that if anyone revealed themselves without his cue they wouldn't survive the night; "We are only here to watch, after all... Anyone speaks, I'll cut their tongue out myself."
Scythebark stood at the base of the fallen tree, ears perked for any sign of PewterClan. He had heard that Goldstar had disappeared, during that night with the fireworks over the mountain, but he certainly wanted to make sure for himself.

((Usually I don't post cause I can never keep up. XD I guess I can say one of my Pewterclan cats came ahead... But who's watching? I'm guessing it's the CBC cats.))
Birdflight watched on the side of the clearing. The only cats there were Duskclan. He didn't like the thought of breaking cover with those cats around. He glanced around wondering if Goldstar would show. Then again it was supposed to be Goldspirit or something.
Autumnsun padded around the clearing. It was the perfect night fir a gathering. She wondered vaguely when the other clans were coming.

(( DuskClan's there already XD And yep, it's the 'CBC'. Heh heh. Sounds like 'BBC'. Heh heh, maybe we should make them a comic in which they're news reporters. =Cackles= Eh, sorry, I'm hyper, I haven't eaten anything.))

Silverstar walked among her clan, and the few others who had come early. She supposed they were going to be late, and no need to stand up there all by herself. She dipped her head to cats here and there, pleased everyone was glad to be there. Her silvery gaze danced around before stopping on Scythebark. She sat next to her deputy. "I wonder whats keeping the others?" She questioned. It was more directed at him, but not exactly.

A faint snicker, impossible to hear. Faker quickly shushed himself, claws gripping the branch tightly. Invisible in the trees, he watched the gathered cats lazily. With a faint sigh, he murmured, "When will they all get here? Somecats have places to be, you know..."
Season, perched beside Divinity, snorted softly. "And where, pray, would that be?"
The young tom looked thoughtful for a second before answering "A true magician never reveals his secrets!" he was obviously proud of this reply, and sat there grinning like an idiot. Then he settled again, waiting for a command off the "king". Divinity was asleep.
((Sorry, but none of my cats are coming to the gathering so far... =[ ))

Dragonpaw moved quietly after his menotr, expression guarded and serious. There was almost no trace of the hyper apprentice that he had been before they had left camp. His dark red and brown pelt seemed to glow as the moonlight hit it, and his eyes watched every detail he could catch. An air of awarness buzzed around him as he gauged everyone. He was going to be a good fighter when he got older, that much was clear by the very way he held himself, even at a gathering.
Twopaw was more cautious then her bold brother, pawsteps hardly making any sound as she crossed the ground. She was the hunter, stealth and speed strong in her thin, wiry frame. Her pure white pelt glowed in the moonlight even more then her brothers, and her two colored eyes examined everything with a differant look in them then her brother. She was searching for movement. She could have sworn she saw something, but when nothing moved again, she dismissed it. Still, without thinking, she sat as far away from the movement as possible.

((alright.))
Goldstar strode in, glancing around at everyone. If everyone had come, he should have Divinepaw, Faintshadow, Aceslash, Lovspell, Gemcloud, Northlight, Nopaw, and Forgedpaw.
"Good evening, Silverstar." he said, nodding his head. He had spoken with the Clan beforehand about the battle. He said he would appriciate it if they didn't speak about it. He took his seat and nervously looked at his Clan.
Nopaw knew that Quietpaw would never come to a Gathering. She was deaf, so it would be an insult. She looked at the Leaders, and then at DuskClan cats. She was disabled, only she was mute, not deaf. Nopaw's tail swished back and forth as she ducked her head, hoping no one would try to speak to her.

(( Eh, I suppose it has been to long without a crucial character; Renegade can go to someone else. It's forest you guys want, right? Who's deputy of CrescentClan? Whoever it is needs to come in place of Dawnstar, since Breeze is out with a doctor's note. Anyone seen Maple, lately?))
"Perhaps they ran into trouble." Scythebark's tail twitched and he looked at his leader meaningfully. "I wouldn't be surprised if their patrols ran into a band of rogues or those troublesome Circuit cats." He looked up as PewterClan entered the clearing. "Well, that's certainly surprising, I would have think PewterClan would be the last to arrive, if at all."
Clopar's ears twitched at Scythebark's comments, in annoyance. "I am not troublesome." He sniffed, shifting on his branch so that his paws were tucked under his chest and his cloak covered his fur. He looked like a rather peeved blue bunny rabbit with a yellow head.

((Ivorybreeze has the deputy, but she is never on anymore. -shrug-))
The feeling of being wtached ruffled Twopaw's fur, she could almost feel ther eyes watching the other cats as well as herself. Looking around nevrously, she saw that PewterClan had arrived. Everyone seemed unaware of the eyes aside from herself. She must be going insane. What other thing could it be? Cats weren't suppose to bother them at gatherings, were they?Shifting slightly, the two colored eyes watched the crowd as it grew, obviously uneasy still.
Dragonpaw, who hadn't noticed anything because he was not as sensitive as his sister was, watched the Pewterclan cats with an obvious intrested expression. He was always the bold one, trying anything anyone else wouldn't do. Not in a way to bemean though, he was just curious. About everything. Life was a great mystery to him, and with everything that went on it it, how could there be time to stand still. It was with great control, the apprentice kept himself still, not looking and meeting everyone.

Aceslash trotted into the clearing proudly, his golden orbs glowing. It was a shame that Rushwind and his brother Havoccrypt weren't here. It would've been so much more fun. Oh well.
Acornclaw curled her tail around her paws. She wondered where the other two clans were...maybe they got attacked? Or maybe they forgot?

Divinepaw followed her leader and mentor in silence, as was usual. It was a relief to be away from Destiniespaw for a while. The relief was evident, and she was calmer and more relaxed than she usually was.
Forgedpaw broke into a run to catch up with his sister. "Wow. First Gathering. Destiniespaw and Falteringpaw are going to be so jealous!" he mewed, carefully watching her. When he got no response, he touched her shoulder with his tail and they both stopped, allowing the other cats to overtake them. He turned so that he was standing sideways in front of her, blocking her from moving straight ahead.
"C'mon. We all know you can talk. All of us know that Destiniespaw has been stopping you all along. Same as she's terrorising Falteringpaw!"
Hooding her eyes, Divinepaw shrugged, neither acknowledgine nor denying it. Then she padded around her brother and broke into a sprint to catch up to the rest of the cats in her clan, hearing Forgedpaw following. Unwittingly, it turned into a game and she weaved in and out of cats and other obstacles to evade him, but he made a spectaculor leap over Goldstar's head and landed on her, knocking her to the ground. He made a pretend bite to the shoulder and got to his paws grinning. She responded with an audible play-hiss and swiped at him before she, too, got to her paws and arrived in the gathering. One look at the two of them, and one would think that they'd been in a battle; their pelts were covered in dust and dirt, leaves littered Forgedpaw's dark gray and white striped pelt, and numerous twisgs were strewn in he various shades of gray in Divinepaw's fur. Once mingling with the gathered cats, they proceeded to groom themselves, to make themselves look presentable amongst the four clans.

Goldstar looked at his Apprentice carefully. Something seemed so... different about her. He shrugged and squinted into the trees. Was that... no, it couldn't be. Clopar was annoying, but he wouldn't dare come back... would he? Goldstar nudged Silverstar, whispering "Look over there." into her ear.
Nopaw looked at Divinepaw and Forgedpaw with envy. She couldn't play with her siblings because Threepaw didn't have all four legs, Blindpaw couldn't see, Quietpaw couldn't hear... And no one could ever tell what Mumblepaw was saying.
((I THINK Rainbowpelt was invited... if not then oops.))
A colorful pelt emerged from the trees. Rainbowpelt seemed to have grown up since her Ceremony just hours ago. She seemed to hold herself with more authority, and her eyes seemed less playful, but still curious. She looked at the PweterClan apprentices, remembering how small she had been at first. "First Gathering?" she asked Forgedpaw.
