Shadeflower sat and watched the cats walk by. This was he first gathering as a deputy, and she was very excited, at first. But when she got here it felt like just any other gathering. She figured it would feel diffrent when other cats found out that she was the new deputy. He brother's words from after she had been deputy after a few days echoed through her head. "One day you'll be leading the clan. He chest swelled up with pride at that thought. She was completely worry free.

((SORRY! I haven't even chosen who will be going to the gathering. After I make this post, I shall. xP))
Dawnstar came into the clearing with her Clan a little breathlessly. She went over to where the other leaders were. "So sorry I'm late." She meowed. "Have we started?"

Acepaw sighed as his brother got distracted again, and he trotted after him. Seeing other apprentices, he discreetly leaned towards Havocpaw, and whispered in his ear. "Careful what you say...they're from different clans." He grinned at the other apprentices, his golden eyes dancing. He hadn't seen any other cats other than the one from his own clan, and this was his first gathering as well. "Hi. I'm Acepaw. I'm Havocpaw's brother."

Goldstar smiled. "I'll start." he said, dipping his head to Dawnstar. "PweterClan is pleased to announce that we have several new Warriors, Scouttrack, Junebug, Rivertide, Redspirit, Flamingsong, and Flowerbreeze. We also have two new Apprentices, Havocpaw and Acepaw." he smiled at the ones that were there.
"Unfourtunatly, I also bear strange news. An odd cat with an accent came to our Clan. Hs exact words were: "You may have heard of the new ruler, Renegade? He is dangerous, don't misjudge him, as he does have a large band who I think are hungry for power. Your warriors will need strength to go against him, as the small band of rogues that are against him are doing our best, but can't do anything too openly."
Goldstar waited a moment. "I believe Renegade may cause a problem." he explained. "So watch your borders carefully." he stepped back, apparently finished.
Irishpaw stared at Goldstar. One of the Leaders thought there was a danger?

Junebug purred softly as she heard her warrior name be called. Goldstar had been her mentor, and boy was she proud! The she-cat bristled at the mention of Renegade. It was so suspicious...and though she hadn't been born back in the day when the rogues attacked Mapleclan camp, but she'd heard that the battle had been deadly, many clan cats, rogues and loners having lost their lives.
Acepaw grinned at Havocpaw, sweeping a paw over his ear and giving his unruly fur a quick lick. His pelt was rarely in order, the long hairs often tangled.

A twig snapped. Scent of circuit cat drifted in the clearing. Riverwing recongized it. He knew who it was, what it was. His dark starry blue eyes shifted towards the scent. Catching a glimpse of silver and dark blue eyes. Riverwing knew it. Zing found Storm Call and now was a bad time.

Goldstar, along with several other cats, rose and hissed as they smelled it. "Circuit." he hissed.
Irishpaw reconzied the smell of the cats who had tried to capture Thicketkit and her. She backed up a few steps, bumping into Eaglepaw.

Eaglepaw gently smiled as Irishpaw bumped into him. Being the gentleman that he was he immediately put himself inbetween her and the circuit. His eyes never leaving the strange cat. His tail started flicking in anger.

Darksun appeared within a moment between the two apprentices. He laided his tail gently onto Eaglepaw, warning him to be still. Tension seemed to build even more so as the sounds came closer. His dark pelt seemed to blend as he became still.
Havocpaw glanced at the approaching cats, before winking at his brother. Although he hadn't expected them, he felt no ill will for them yet. However, as he watched all the other cats get ready to fight, he felt anger stir in him. Leaping up to the leader's rock, seeing as how everyone else had gotten down, he called out loudly "Oi! This is a GATHERING. We shouldn't be fighting, even circuit cats. Besides, they haven't done anything yet to us, give them a chance. How would you like it if someone treated you like this? I wouldn't like it, even if I was differant from everyone else." It was probably the most serious thing the apprentice had said in moons, and his green eyes had become flames in the darkness. His black tail lashed back and forth angrily at the other clan cats.
Flammingsong glanced at the apprentice, Havocpaw, with amazement. His words made sense, but usually only leaders went up there, that would cause a lot of trouble in camp, she thought. However, she knew they had been treating the strangers bad, and it didn't exscuse them. With a sigh, she sheathed her claws, but still watched carefully.

"I'm not here to cause trouble." Zing stepped out of the bushes. "I just needed to bring a certain someone to Silverstar." He nodded. Riverwing's only son stepped out of the bushes. Strom Call could not help but show excitment. He padded into the sea of cats. Towards Silverstar. "I know this is a bad timing but I wish to join your clan." Storm Call bowed his head submissively.

Acepaw's jaw dropped in surprise as his brother leaped up to stand near the leaders. Not wanting his brother to get into trouble alone, he made a split second decision and raced up to stand beside him, his shaggy pelt brushing against Havocpaw's. As soon as he was up there, he began to regret it a bit. "Oh...this may be one of my dumbest ideas yet." He mumbled, glancing at the other apprentice. It was odd seeing his brother so serious. Watching Storm Call with wide eyes, he remembered some of the warriors talking about 'magic' cats who called themselves the Circuit Board. Perhaps this was one of them?

Eaglepaw let out a sigh as Darksun told him to relax. He obeyed. His blue eyes glanced back to his mentor. He sat down, grooming slightly. He tried to get his fur back in order.
Silverstar turned to the kits on high rock, shooting them both deadly looks. The leaders could have handled it. She turned back to Stormcall. She eyed him cautiously. The young cat seemed true to his word. "Junglespirit, Riverwing." she barked at two of her trusty warriors. "Take this cat back to camp. I'll meet up with you when the gathering is over. We'll discuss it then." she ordered. His silver pelt showed her age in the moon. She was old, but wise.

Goldstar, who had sat back down again at the peace, was back on his feet, tail lashing. One of his own apprentices, on the Leaders Rock. "I don't know what kind of mouse-brained idea this is, but you had better get down. We'll talk at camp." he hissed to the Apprentice.

Havocpaw hissed back, eyes narrowed. "How about trying to bring peace, everyone was geared for attack, and I felt I needed to do something." However, his tone was only low enough for Acepaw to hear. His green eys sparked with anger as the two leaders glared at him, but he held himself high. Mumbling to Acepaw, he said so quietly that only his brother could hear him; "Mouse brains. Getting mad at us for bringing peace." Although his tones were harsh, he was grateful Acepaw had joined him up there. With an easy bound, he leapt back down and waited for his brother, tail lashing ever so slightly.
