The silver she-cat padded out of the camp. Her silver orbs spotted a warrior and a new comer. Her face was emotionless as she approched. She smiled at Butterflyrage, she'd have to thank her later, after this mess was settled with. "Who are you?" she questioned, power in her voice and stance. She wanted to know about this cat before she just wandered in. You had to be careful who you trusted, especially with the circuits about.

Sandpaw's amber eyes brightened as he saw his leader comming. Even though she didn't catch his eye, he flashed her a fast smile. Good natured as always, Sandpaw had great respect for this cat. He was still curious about this new strange cat though, as he cocked his head to the side in question once again. His eyes were bright as he took in everything in the forest. How he was glad to finally be where he wanted. It had taken him a long enough time to get here. Blinking, he looked questionly at the strange cat, frusterated with his muteness once again.

" I am Ginger." Trying to act and speak as powerful as the mysterious cat.

Silverstar could see right through this strange cat's ways. How the she-cat held herself, her tone, just everything reaked with lies. The silver cat flicked her ear in frustration. Why couldn't cats just be themselves. "Ginger." she started to call out the cat. "There is no need to prove yourself as of yet. So please stop trying to impress me." she said with a sigh. She was getting agitated with the stranger. "I want honest, loyal, caring cats to live with my family in the clan. As of now, you're not proving you are what we need. Why should I let you in?" the she-cat questioned, her silver orbs seemed to bear into the newcomer's eyes, searching her soul.

"Shall I leave you to your family then? Cause I may leave. At any time." Ginger said calmly. She had no problem leaving this place. It was too unfamilar.
Ginger looked deeply into the leader's eyes and said,
" I do not fear you, and I do not fear leaving this place, and the things you may teach me, will be doing the best for your family." Ginger said as calmly as she could muster.

It took a lot of Sandpaw's control not to attack the other cat. Her smug ways were irritating him, and his spotted tail lashed, and his pelt was bristling in an angry way. He was not the oldest apprentice, he had just come to Duskclan actually. Still though, he felt that this was his home, and this outsider had no right to insult it.
A low growl started in the back of his throat, and it took some difficulty to swallow it. There was no need to see what he meant though. His amber eyes burned with fire as he glared at the other cat, but remained behind Silverstar. If she was threatened though, he would attack the other cat. His temper was flaring up quickly.

" I did not mean to insult these loyal cats of your clan, nor you. But if you reject me, I have nowhere to go. I can make your clan stronger." Ginger pleeded. She noticed that the younger cat standing beside the leader was looking for a battle.
" It can be one more, or ten more... the more you reject, the weaker your clan will get."

Dreamspinner, who had been watching from the tree, scrambled down. "I wouldn't be so smug." she said in her dreamy voice. "You can't make Silverstar let you in because you act more powerful." the strange cat explained. "Acting is very bad for your dreams, you know."

"Hm." The deputy, sitting at Silverstar's other paw with his tail wrapped around his own paws, grunted. His ears flicking back and forward. "No need to get upset, Sandpaw." He meowed the the apprentice with a twitch of his tail tip. "I just think she's nervous." Muttered he. "Trust me," He spoke louder to reach the cat, "We're obviously not impressed with formalities, get on with it, as you keep insulting us un-be-knowngst to you."

" It's not and act, nor did I try to insult. That's not my goal. My goal is to find a new home." Ginger said. Her anger was starting to flare up.
Don't they understand I'm not a clan cat?
" Look I do not know of your clan ways. If you don't want me here, then reject me. I may end up in another clan." Ginger's voice quavered.

Scythebark snorted and laid back his ears. He could of sworn he was being understanding. Oh well. "Clan ways have nothing to do with it; It's courtousy. You're not getting anywhere by trying to sound fancy, and certainly not by insulting us every paragraph. "If you haven't noticed, we're plenty strong." Meowed he, pointing at the swarthes of cats around, well-fed on toad. "So obviously that would be an insult, now wouldn't it? Think before the words leave your mouth, the other Clans are having rougher times this Leafbare then we are, and wouldn't hesitate to drive you off. Not to mention all the rogues hanging about now." His tail stirred the leaf litter, and the deputy pointedly stared at a passing rolley-polley like it was an evil burning cat from SunClan themselves.

"I didn't try to insult. I see I have lost, you have won. There is no way I can convince you." Giger cowered. She gave up there was no way she could have won the argument.

Just then a dark grey tom appeared at Gingers side. "I thought it was against the Warrior Code to reject a cat in need. The least you can do is bring her to camp and make sure is rested and fed so she doesn't die." He mewed to the leader, his face expressionless, if not cold. He didn't even look at Ginger, his yellow orbs serious. Large fangs jutted over his lip. No, he wasn't challenging his own clan, this was how he always was. Yet it was strange for him to be sticking up for another cat, besides his sister. Strange... "Obviously she is not from around here, and made a mistake trying to act tough." mewed Fablepaw in a low voice.

Ginger gazed up at the tom with thankful eyes. This was not the first cat the stuck up for her today. For that, She was grateful.

Scythebarks ears twitched in confusment. Oh well, might as well stop listening to the conversation all together. These cats were weird. That Will-o-Wisp floating over there was more intresting... How it flew up and down... Up and down... Up and down... He shook as he became dizzy.
