Riverhill

Surrounded by the dark, cold, rushing waters of the river, Riverhill is a mystical place, hidden by a thick surrounding of pale trees that glow as the full moon hits them, creating almost a barrier of light to the outside world. In order to reach the island, cats have to cross the spindly tree that fell so many moons ago during a storm. Slick with the jumping water below it, the tree only offers grip when one reaches the long black scar that stretches from the very roots, to halfway to the end of the tree. Upon entering the island, one’s eye is drawn to the northern end of the island, where a large red oak tree sits, covered in moss. Four branches of equal height stretch up and out; a perfect speaking place for the leaders, and below them, at the base of the tree, sit the deputies. Behind the leaders, the glow of the full moon can be seen easily, casting down its light on the island, letting cats bask in the warmth that at least for that night, StarClan is with them. Soft, springy grass covers the rest of the island, though time as well as the massive amount of cats has worn it down until there is more dirt rather than the once soft and springy grass.
